I have a whole cabinet of medications I have bought for my boy,now four,since I bought them.

I have a whole cabinet of medications I have bought for my boy,now four,since I bought them.

They range from cough syrups,to paracetamols,to multi its to so many others I do not even know anymore.

I have a favorite cough syrup for baby and a favorite paracetamol that if not prescribed,I would go out and buy.Without them I do not considered the boy completely healed.

But seeing all these medications got me thinking,just how long should we keep these prescriptions?

I know there are some,especially those that you reconstitute that only takes five days then you discard,what about the rest?Should I wait for its sell by date?

I also cannot bring myself to just throw them out,what if an emergency for any of the illnesses occurs at night,what first aid medication will I give?

So with all these what it’s,I keep them,just incase.
