Frame Fixings and Aluminium Profiles for Secure Facade and Structural Installations

The frame fixing SXR is a plug made from high-quality nylon and is designed for secure fixing in both solid and hollow building materials. Its special plug geometry allows versatile use across different substrates. The low anchorage depth enables cost-effective installation, while the reduced drill hole depth saves time and minimizes bit wear. The fixing is available with different screw types, including countersunk head screws and hexagonal screws with moulded washer, made from zinc-plated steel, hot-dip galvanised steel, and stainless steel. The European Technical Approval provides additional reliability for a wide range of applications. Countersunk head screws are recommended for fixing timber constructions, while hexagonal screws with moulded washer are suitable for metal constructions. In hollow building materials, loads are transferred in the area of the block fillets, and rotary drilling is recommended when working with vertically perforated bricks.

Horizontal profiles used in ventilated rainscreen façade subframe systems are made of aluminium and support the installation of façade panels through geometrically matching clasps. These profiles enable quick suspension of façade panels and transfer the loads from the façade through the clasps to the vertical level of the system. The profiles are installed on vertical subframe elements using system rivets or self-drilling screws. To allow thermal expansion, installation includes both sliding points with slotted holes and fixed points with round holes. Different geometries are available to meet varying load requirements. The optimised geometry supports material savings, while the compatibility of clasps and profiles ensures quick and efficient installation of façade panels.
