Requirements

If it was easy then it’d be easy

It if didn’t take strength it wouldn’t require it

If one of the rewards wasn’t pride

Then every hurdle you ran into you’d happily forfeit

No matter the outcome

Noble intentions are usually free from judgement

While shallow desires

Will rarely lead you down the road of fulfillment

If it didn’t require your attention

Then there would be no need to focus

And if you live without hope

Well then I guess you’re just hopeless

So no matter the requirement

I’m always prepared to make the sacrifice

As that’s usually the key required

In order to unlock a better life
