A Handmade Year
Reconnecting to the things that keep us human in an age of AI
Photo by Cassidy Phillips on Unsplash
This will be a year of reclaiming the use of our hands and staying grounded a year of handmade glory a return to the things that make us human again smell the candles feel the pages of books
bring back textures, roughness of sensations soil, moss, dirt, and grass connecting with breath unplugging taking walks DIY home projects returning to ancient crafts knitting, crocheting dressmaking or weaving
tending to pets re-greening of thumbs smelling the petrichor in the air dancing to the drumbeats falling in love with community let's hold hands
bake bread ferment cook repair things make art make music draw sing dance mull over ideas write poems pen books paint forget AI and feel what it means to be fully alive
*Human-written, no AI used
✨Thanks for reading. If you’d like to show support, feel free to do so here. I promise I won’t use the money to buy another book (I lie 🤥, oh well)
