Islam Doesn’t Shame Your Desires

Let’s be real: we all have dreams. Love. Healing. Provision. Success. Peace. Islam doesn’t ask us to suppress those desires — it teaches us how to elevate them.

You want something? Ask Allah directly. No middleman. No algorithm. No vision board.

Let’s be honest: some parts of the LOA sound good. Gratitude. Positive thinking. Visualization. And yes — gratitude is a Sunnah. Yes — positive speech is encouraged. But here’s the problem:

The Law of Attraction can lead to shirk if we believe things or energy control our life instead of Allah.

That’s a dangerous place to be.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “If you ask, ask Allah. If you seek help, seek help from Allah.” — (Tirmidhi)

What Islam Gave Me That LOA Couldn’t

• Peace when I didn’t get what I wanted.
• Hope even when life looked impossible.
• The comfort of knowing Allah’s plan is better than mine.

I still dream. I still make plans. But now, I do it with open hands — not clenched fists.

The real “secret” isn’t in a book or a frequency. It’s in a quiet du’a made at Fajr. It’s in a heart that says, “Ya Allah, I want this — but You know best.”
