Instead of completely shutting down and waiting until the timing is right, I do my very best to show up. Even with half-open eyelids. My circumstances are not at all unique to this human experience. I am not the exception to the rule. We all have shit that needs to get done regardless. So why must I get a pass to sit and wait while others create magick with their dirt?

If it’s challenging for others, it will also be challenging for me. It is what it is.

Here’s the thing. Life isn’t waiting for you to reverse your PCOS. Life doesn’t give a shit about your thyroid problem. Life couldn’t care less about when you plan to cure your anemia. Life isn’t concerned about your period. Life still moves forward! And it will leave your ass behind to come up with all sorts of creative excuses from your imperfect conditions.

Take a good look around you. Notice how creative people get when it comes to making excuses. But when it’s time to convince themselves that they should take action, suddenly they experience creative blocks. How convenient!
