Love is all around — Nº 2

Last week, summer was so wonderful 🌞

It’s a full week of sunshines, sky was blue and temperature was 24–31 degrees Celsius everyday.

Can you believe that, 31 degrees Celsius in this artic circle area? It’s phenomenal!

She was out the whole week. She went cycling, swimming and enjoying the weather with her friends. She wanted to savour every moment. However, this week doesn’t look like that. Yesterday it was raining.

Today she will visit a friend’s home…

Looking out the window, it seems that it’s warm and sunny.

“Great!! I can have T-shirt and short when I’m going out…”, she plans her outfit while secretly hopes for last week’s sun and heat.

“I will feel that extreme heat which penetrates through my skin again soon! It’s not good for my skin however, it’s so rare to feel that here”, she continues hoping.

“Kal will be very happy because I’m not at home today”, her thoughts continue.

Then she remembers that strike of angers she had few weeks ago when Kal suddenly told her that it’s so boring to be together all the time when they were at the living room, doing their own stuffs. Sometimes, she wondered if 4 years being together is too long. May be!

She has been trying to be out more when it became possible after social distancing rules were loosen up. It has been awesome to see other faces, she admitted to herself. So, Kal was right! but how come it feels so uncomfortable whenever she recalls that moment. “Kal doesn’t talk much to me like before”, she thoughts.

She has been daydreaming about that Korean actor on Youtube for few weeks. “Oh, he is so damn handsome, if I met him in real life, I would marry him”, she has this line of thought in her head about that Korean actor while carefully applying sunscreen onto her face.

Kal is in his room in front of his laptop, as usual.

Looking at herself in the mirror, finally she puts on her favourite Charlotte Tilbury Coral Kiss lipstick. It lights up her face immediately.

Perfect! She’s ready to go out.

When she is about to open the door, she hears Kal’s voice behind her …“It’s cold outside. Soon it’s gonna be rain and windy too. You’d rather wear long trousers…” He pauses…and continues “…and may be it’s better that you use my coat today, it will keep you warm”

Her breathing stops for a moment. Slowly she turns around. Kal is there leaning toward the wall looking at her. She feels a warm rush through her heart.

Definitely, he still cares about her. Only the way he cares for her has changed.
