SUA SPONTE FUNCTIONS — Are AI programs taht “finish tasks” online for Citizens — a digital cross-station train wreck due to occur? The Ethics of Self-Learning & Sentient AI

At first you clicked — Spell Check. Then decided if you wanted the recommendation or the misspelled words were not recognizable.

Now while typing AutoCorrect for the Docs program and also for the Operating System Overlay — began Spell Checking even bringing up suggestion windows. Which is not bad per se — but what about the suggestions that pop-up unrequested and tell the User there is no “Suggestion”. Even Latin good legal terms — distracting pop-up telling me AI has no suggestion — thus a wasted interaction which was “unsolicited”. It responded as a “Sentient” spell checker without being asked and wasted focus/time of a human.

Sp truth is the patterns of AI generated prompts and tasks AI does “for us” which are wrong will only expand. And yes — it is just be or is the most annoying autogenerated notice the “No Suggestions” for spelling pop-up. If the computer needs to tell me that it’s go no correction without even asking for Spell check — it’s getting weird. Like a computer reporting unsolicited that it has no answer to a problem I didn’t even ask it about as I was doing a first typing.

Point is watch as AI takes over the very unit you are using. Even Google has confirmed that for routine tasks like “Online Shopping” it has developed AI that finishes the tasks of clicking through for the user. So if you get distracted — in essence the computer AI takes over and presumes “norms”.

These are “defendable” as good AI (Functions) self-initiated or “Sua Sponte” program steps — in theory.

Yet over time watch — major problems about to happen. AI is programed to spot patterns and make decisions “for us” and after hearing thousands upon thousands of hours of “Court” the “couldn’t not have happen” near unbelievable will be happening.

Be mindful. Watch and pray. Simplify your tech and do not get caught up in the “novelty” of AI. It’s no more advance in ways that prior tech with regards to performance — yet it’s tightened digital surveillance and pattern trackers with now unsolicited interactions — hence a form of interaction “Sentience”.

Keep the faith. Orient on and around people — not machines.
