The technology is used to manage inventories and assets in a variety of industries, including retail, manufacturing, transportation & logistics, government, healthcare, and hospitality.

AIDC’s growth is being driven by causes such as the growing need to eliminate human data capture and entry errors, expanding government initiatives for AIDC technology, and the increasing use of AIDC systems in e-commerce industries. However, the significant capital expenditure required to establish RFID and biometrics systems, as well as a lack of understanding about AIDC applications in poorer nations, may stymie industry expansion.

To encourage the expansion of the AIDC business in India, a group of individuals founded an association. AIDC Technologies Association of India is a professional association that represents the AIDC industry in India. These individuals have made significant contributions to the growth of the industry. The association’s principal goals include increasing business understanding of AIDC procedures and technologies. All AIDC Technologies share two fundamental goals:

1. Remove any errors linked with identification and/or data gathering.
2. Speed up the throughput process.

The association is a technical and business resource whose mission is to broaden the business community’s awareness and comprehension of AIDC. As a result, it provides its members with an atmosphere for both business and social networking.
