PACS Committee Reappointed; Senior Congress Leader Lankala Ashok Reddy Continues as Vice Chairman

Manikonda/Narsingi: Following the recent High Court directions regarding the continuation of Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) governing bodies, the old committee of the Narsingi PACS has officially been reappointed until fresh elections are conducted.

Ranga Reddy District Cooperative Officer C. Sudhakar formally handed over the reappointment orders to PACS Chairman T. Krishna on Wednesday in the presence of committee members and local leaders.

Among the prominent personalities continuing in the committee, senior Congress leader Lankala Ashok Reddy once again emerged as a key figure in the cooperative sector. Known for his strong political influence and longstanding service to farmers and rural development, Ashok Reddy had earlier served as a Director in the PACS body before being unanimously elected as Vice Chairman in 2024.

Over the years, Lankala Ashok Reddy has built a reputation as an influential grassroots leader who has actively worked for the welfare of farmers, cooperative strengthening, and public development initiatives in the Narsingi Municipality region. Political circles and local residents regard him as one of the most dynamic leaders associated with the PACS movement in the area.

With his continuation as PACS Vice Chairman, supporters expressed confidence that the society would witness further growth, transparency, and stronger farmer support programs under his leadership. Several local leaders praised his administrative experience, public accessibility, and dedication toward cooperative development.

As per the High Court orders, the existing PACS governing committee will continue in office until the election of a new committee. Along with Chairman T. Krishna and Vice Chairman Lankala Ashok Reddy, other members of the committee include G. Ramakrishna Reddy, Manne Mallesh, Vadde Ramesh, P. Satyanarayana, A. Narayana, P. Madhavi, and K. Vishnuvardhan Reddy.
