I’ve been seeing the sky in a shade of black Living in pixelate, I painted the words The poets died so I was all alone Letting go, we’re the best of friends I didn’t say I want that, but why do I stay?

Easy they said, they begged for a change I climbed up the wall, I ran from the hall I never got far, I built a blockage I lighted up the candle, I burnt down the house Darling, would it be alright to help me hold onto you?

I could feel the hue of the sapphire blue And the warmth of a shiny bronze dawn Leaving the pages, they’re getting so old I heard lullabies, I slept deeper than the ocean I didn’t say I want that, so who could tell?

I stayed up all night, I begged for a chance They’re being so right, the lantern now fade It’s getting rusted, I lost in the dark Still hope for the lights, I‘m here to admit Darling, let me hold onto you
