World Tourism Day is celebrating each year on 27 September which is led by UNWTO. Every year celebrations are started with a unique theme to aware the people. In 2019, UNWTO focuses on the theme ‘Tourism and Jobs: a better future for all’.
This special occasion aims to aware the people about the importance of tourism inside the international community as well as to exhibit how the social, economic, cultural, political values are affected by it globally.
It is celebrated with great interest by the various tourism enterprises, organizations, government agencies and etc. It is celebrated with varieties of competitions such as photo competitions promoting the tourism, tourism award presentations including free entries, discounts/special offers to the general public.
