In the fast-paced world of digital assets, understanding the underlying infrastructure is just as important as understanding the assets themselves. For our growing community in Brazil and around the world, navigating the various networks can sometimes feel complex. Why are there so many different chains? Why does one network cost pennies to use while another costs dollars? As a digital currency exchange, Wzzph believes that knowledge is the key to a smoother experience. Today, we are breaking down the three main pillars of blockchain scaling: Sidechains, Layer 2s, and Appchains.
The Scalability Challenge
To understand these solutions, we first need to understand the problem. Imagine a single highway (the main blockchain).
