Daily Delight #5: Customize Your Watch Face.

I don’t know how often I do this — whenever the mood hits me, I switch up my Apple Watch face. Sometimes I cycle through the faces that Apple has already given us and those can provide plenty of joy on their own. Hello, the Snoopy Watch Face, anyone?

That’s one of the best, in my opinion, if you’re looking to add a little joy to your life. it’s something different every time you look down at your watch, it’s adorable! (which helps) and it’s grey Monday through Saturday and on Sunday it displays in color on your Watch. Just like the comic.

I love little whimsy like that.

But sometimes I want something different.

I love to collect art (usually illustrations) and photos on Pinterest that I like and use them to create custom lock screens / home screens for my iPhone. Of course, this extends to Apple Watch.

Go to your Watch app on your phone, select faces > photos.

Then choose, “photos” and select the images you want your watch to cycle through. This works even better if you tap on a photo first and position it exactly the way you want it to appear on your watch.

Now every time you check the time, you get a new photo.

You don’t have to do this every day, but once you do I think you’ll notice an increase in the number of little delights you notice daily.
