Paul Ekman’s theory is classified as a base firmware dump (Biological ROM) for discrete biological nodes. This is a baseline specification of hardware interrupts, embedded at the Bare Metal level, prior to the local OS boot and macro-network (WAN) connection.
Biological emotions are not subjective noise, but strictly physical parameters of the node: mass, temperature, time vector, and entropy generation (ΔS).
Ekman recorded a finite number of orthogonal vectors in a discrete topology (ℵ₀).
Base FSM-states Specification (Cross-platform ROM):
- Surprise: [CACHE_MISS]. Hardware branch prediction fault. The local expectation graph of the node did not match the reality RAW_DUMP. Requires immediate I/O reallocation to load new data.
- Fear: Preparation for NMI_HANDLER. Detection of a fatal threat to the physical architecture of the node (high probability of HARDWARE_CRASH). Maximum priority on the bus: blocking all background processes to save the Bare Metal or execute an emergency connection drop.
- Anger: Thermal discharge [HEATSINK_DUMP]. Aggressive acquisition of the DISTRIBUTED_MUTEX_LOCK in the local space. A sharp increase in node temperature to alter the topology of the external macro-graph by forcibly overwriting foreign packets.
- Disgust: Hardware filter [DROP_PACKET]. Triggers upon an attempt to load a malicious Payload (toxic protein or viral social graph) into the node. Blocks [MEMORY_CORRUPTION] via immediate termination of the I/O session.
- Sadness: [DEGRADED_MODE] / [GLOBAL_THREAD_SLEEP]. System throttling. Activates after the loss of a critical resource (e.g., connection drop with a friendly node -> [SEGMENTATION_FAULT]). The node reduces its clock rate to rebuild the damaged graph at minimal power consumption (S → min).
- Happiness: Zero angle (Cosine Similarity = 1) between the expectation vector and the vector of Truth. ΔS → 0. Successful commit of the vector into the Temporal DAG without thermal overheating. Ping between expectation and environment response is minimal.
- Contempt: [ASYMMETRIC_QoS_DROP]. Hardware deprioritization of incoming I/O. Unilateral phase shift (interface asymmetry) , locking in the refusal of coherent synchronization with the object. The target node is transitioned into READ_ONLY with zero weight, losing the right to a [DISTRIBUTED_MUTEX_LOCK] without heat emission (ΔS → 0).
Topological Vulnerability: Microexpressions (Jitter Leakage)
Ekman’s discovery of microexpressions (duration Δt < 0.2 sec) strictly corresponds to the physics of the [JITTER_DAEMON]. Microexpressions are the leakage of a high-frequency hardware signal that manages to breach the I/O bus before the biological bootloader can initialize the [POLYMORPHIC_SHIM] (social mask / adaptive heatsink).
WAN-parsing may apply any local cultural filters on the Frontend (ℝⁿ), but Ekman mathematically proved that the Backend of these FSM states is invariant relative to the linguistic or social basis. This is hardcoded physics, broadcasting the survival status of the graph.
