Why Christians must Walk in Readiness upon the Earth

Greetings Brothers and Sisters on another wonderful day we have been blessed with.

Regardless of whether we woke up on the wrong side of bed, Psalms 150 v 6 says; Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the Lord.

Today we dwell in the book of Luke chapter 21. On verses 2 to 4, we hear of the poor widow who dropped the two mites she had left on her into the offering treasury at the Temple.

Jesus then said Truly the poor widow put in more than the others with great wealth.

But why? Because she gave her all in the service of our Lord and Savior. Our problem brothers and sisters is that we have allowed busyness to separate us from the worship of our Savior. We no longer give our whole body, mind, spirit and strength to him.

Nowadays we demarcate it into two. Some goes to the Lord and the rest to the world.

let’s walk in Readiness at all times for we know not of the day of his arrival. Luke 21 v 35 reminds us that the second coming of Jesus will come as a snare on all dwellers of the earth.

But verse 36 comforts us by saying, Watch therefore and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all things that will come to pass.

Let’s live by faith and not by sight. In prayer and Worship, Bible study, Teaching, preaching and good works to others. let’s listen to the conviction of the Holy spirit for he reminds us of our shortcomings with love.

This is a chance for us to remove the immoral attachments we have to the world and choose a life of being prepared for the second coming of Christ.

Today is an opportunity to recalibrate our life. As we walk through the day, let’s remember today is another opportunity to work on our relationship with our Savior.
