Innocent until proven guilty, I know, so this may be jumping the gun. Headline from foxnews.com: “Hawley investigates left-wing group allegedly funding LA riots with government grants.” Okay, let’s cut the pols who may have forked over cash to thugs some slack and say they didn’t know, but it would still be infuriating that funds are thrown around blindly.

From FN. It’s 2020 all over again: “Anti-ICE protests spread nationwide with wild scenes caught on video.” I would argue that Trump’s ouster was due more to Covid. The riots were/are confined to Dem-run cities. It will be interesting to see how it will play this time. If the economy booms, I expect the riots will have little effect.

This may be the most amusing headline of the day. From FN: “Finally Someone Is Getting Serious About Finding Bigfoot As Cannabis Dispensary Offers Discount For Proof.” Or maybe it’s this: “Anti-ICE riots force HUD offices to close weeks after ‘Squad’ Dem, Maxine Waters said Trump would close them.” Is that irony?

Among today’s celebrations, it’s National Making Life Beautiful Day. Should be every day.

Here’s what sold: a bunch of classics in Russian, two kids’ books, three paperbacks in the Star Trek: Voyager series, Blind Tiger by Sandra Brown, The Associate by John Grisham, a huge cookbook, DVDs of Crossfire (1947) and War (2008).
