Prerequisites

Sign up and access the workspace

1. Open your browser and go to the platform: vision.pixlab.io
2. Sign up or log in:

• If you’re new, click “Sign up” and register with your email

• If you already have an account, simply click ‘Sign-in to The Console’ and enter your credentials in the form

• Once you are logged in, you will land in the workspace dashboard, where you can access Workspace, Document Query and OCR. PDF and Text editor. Smart tables. This is how it will look:

Document Query and OCR

1. Upload your file: From your dashboard, click on the Document Query & OCR tab and choose a scanned document or image file(JPG, PNG, or PDF)

2. File scan: Once the file is uploaded, the workspace automatically scans the file and extracts the text. You will see the raw text beside or below the uploaded file

3. Workspace Queries: Once the text is extracted, you can use built-in buttons like Summarize, Key Points, and Explain to process the document instantly. Beyond these built-in buttons, if you want to do more, you can chat directly and ask specific questions.

PDF & Text editor

1. Create or open a document: From the Workspace dashboard, click on the PDF & Text Editor tool. You can start fresh with a blank document.

2. AI-assisted editing: The editor isn’t just a text box — it’s powered by AI to help polish and reformat your work. When you write in the editor or paste your writing, you can press the AI assist button, and you will be provided with many preset options like: Rewrite, summarize, SEO Optimize, Key Points, Friendly Tone, Professional Tone and also you can also describe exactly what you want if it’s not part of the preset button.

Smart tables

1. Open the smart tables tool and import your file: From the dashboard, click on “Smart Tables” to launch the smart table interface. You can start from scratch by inputting data or importing an existing CSV file.

What are smart tables for?

Smart Tables in PixLab Vision are designed to bring the structure and familiarity of spreadsheets into your productivity workflow.

You can use Smart Tables for:

• Organizing structured data: Sales records, inventories, task lists, budgets, etc.
• Preparing content for export — e.g., building a clean table from OCR or editor content before downloading.
