falling leaves… the wooden sails keep turning

The drifting leaves give the whole scene a feeling of slow departure, as though autumn is quietly loosening its hold on everything at once. Yet the wooden sails continue their turning with calm persistence, answering the wind in the same patient rhythm they always have. There’s something comforting in that motion — a reminder that even as the season changes, certain small movements endure.

Curious how these small moments become haiku? I’ve written a short guide called *The Three-Minute Haiku System*, which shows a simple way to turn an observation into a draft haiku in just a few minutes.
