The Middle class Was Mindset in life

My friends always used to tell me, “I was middle-class”. My parents also said we were middle class, too. I have always been middle class. What qualities make people say that I am middle class?

Some people used to think twice before paying for basic healthcare. There are people who still stand in long queues to buy things at a lower cost.

Who are these people? And who are the middle classes?

At the same time, people never used to say, ‘We are upper class,’ or ‘We have a well-settled life.’​

The thing is that we are never satisfied with what we have. We crave more. We envy others’ lives.​

‘We are middle class’s is not a statement. It’s a mindset that makes people chase money!

It’s a mindset that never satisfies us and always wants more. We are living life in a race to be top class. But at the end of the race, we never realise that we were already at the top.

Nowadays, I see people waiting for the bus for more than half an hour. They rush to sit down as soon as they get on. Their daily lives are full of queues, crowds and struggles.

They are the real middle-class people. Their lives have always been a constant struggle. They can’t afford any immediate expenses, even for health-related reasons. They are the people who are actually suffering in life. They are the ones who need money.

Yet it is we who feel pity for them. We want to encourage them to take part in the race and achieve great things. In fact, they are happy with whatever they can get. They can be happy with the smaller things they can get.

The words that Blew my mind​

There is a director whom we all pitied, hoping that his film would be more successful. I hope he can live a lavish life like other directors. But what he said actually blew my mind.

“Ever since my first film, I’ve never run out of money. I always have enough to travel on my bike. But, as you say, maybe I won’t have enough money to drive a car. I always have enough money to ride my bike. I always have.

Whether I need a car or a bike is my choice. Don’t say that buying a car is a sign of success. Success is a matter of personal choice. My idea of success is different to yours — even I don’t know what to do with millions of Cash!”

Sounds crazy, right? I’ve never heard anyone with this perception of life and success. I always see people ranting about their lives. But these guys showed me a different way of thinking.

In the past, I used to travel by bus too, rushing to get a seat. Now, I hardly ever travel by bus. That’s a luxury.

Travelling in a BMW or an Audi is not only a luxury.

If I could buy the things I want, that would be a luxury.

Being satisfied with what we have is the real luxury.

Luxury is a mindset. It’s about satisfied with the things we have. The separation and division are within us. It’s these things that bring our mental state down.

Mindset is everything! If we have a communist mindset, we have enough self-esteem.

Communist mindset

A communist mindset means buying things we don’t want. It means storing things we don’t need.

Statistics and advertisements make us feel like we’re not good enough to live the life we want. We always need to feel more wanted!

The world makes us feel that way. If we were happy with whatever we had, the market for luxury items would crash. The world wants us to chase life.

There is a big difference between comfort and luxury. We confuse them and choose luxury over comfort. We all need something to show off, too.

Sometimes our happiness depends on others.

We all need to keep running. We all need to strive for something in life. If we stopped buying things we didn’t want. Started looking at everything, we would feel better about ourselves. Then we would never feel bad about ourselves. We would never meet with our lives.

The media and everything around us show us things that we supposed need to buy. And consume, even though we never needed them in the first place.

As an observer, I would say that people are suffering as a result. Are they satisfied with what they have? They have the luxury of life.

As communists, we have always wanted everyone to be equal. Seeing equality in life brings us peace. We never wanted to be better than others; that is what drives us. If we want everyone to be equal, we should never envy the rich.

We don’t want to win the race; we want everyone to win theirs.
