Are people rational?

I once read an article saying that people are not rational, and we shouldn’t assume that humans can always remain calm and make purely logical decisions.

Nor are people completely fair. People have preferences, and they will still choose what they like.

However, because I have some awareness of human nature, I try not to put too much trust in certain “kind” personalities while ignoring other traits we don’t want to see but that still exist, such as selfishness.

In the end, I know I am responsible for my own happiness, so I make an effort to be kind to myself. I am also responsible for my health, so I practice moderation in my diet and exercise regularly.

Today I also went to the park for a walk and a light jog. Before bed tonight, my legs feel light and relaxed, and it is quite a nice feeling.
