New York Times Vs Donald Trump

The media just can’t seem to stop the downward spiral. The falsification of facts, obvious bias, and the childish shade being thrown is just absolutely rampant. This is not what news is or should ever be. Despite that fact, it’s not going to stop our modern day journalists from destroying the craft. It’s just infinite ammunition out here when it comes to how badly the media responds to certain things nearly every day of the week. Today we take a look at The New York Times and a peak into their practice of journalism.

The New York Times essentially targets President Donald Trump and states that he is more not as liked by the Patriots as President Barrack Obama. The team responsible for this shows this on a tweet in which they convey the images of Patriots turnout for Obama in 2015 to the turnout given a few days ago which shows a noticeably lesser amount of players. A petty attack that was then picked up by CNN and also proliferated as fact. Donald Trump was seen to look unpopular by Obama’s standards. Due to the falsification of fact, The New England Patriots themselves had to clear up the matter on a counter-tweet.

“Thanks @realdonaldtrump & @Whitehouse for the gracious hospitality today honoring the Super Bowl Champion New England #Patriots!”

“These Photos lack context. Facts: In 2015, over 40 football staff were seated on the stairs. In 2017 they were seated on the South Lawn.”

To these statements the New York Times makes this update in a later tweet:

UPDATE: Patriots say # of players was smaller this year than 2015 (34 vs. 50) but total delegation was roughly the same.

Afterwards they had apologized and things had gotten back in order but not before Donald Trump had this to tweet.

“Failing @nytimes, which has been calling me wrong for two years, just got caught in a big lie concerning the New England Patriots visit to W.H.”

I mean for fucks sake, it’s like little children calling each other names out here. This is what our media has been driven to. New York Times makes a claim without any sources and purely out of spite with CNN to back it up which leaves them in a mess of their own accusations. It’s a pitiful display of journalism.

Obviously this isn’t as big as certain issues but it leaves a precedent among many other things the media has been responsible for publishing without any accurate source material. It’s become a biased back and forth of who can smash who the hardest. How can we call this news when the facts are blurred behind the feelings of writers whom lack the experience or credentials to properly display a neutral lens.

It’s very sad and also unfortunately not at the least bit surprising that main stream media outlets have devolved into petty journalism. It’s for this reason that we have to make sure we create opinions and views based off of our own confirmation of facts.

At the end of the day, I’m pretty sure something like this is bound to happen again. I mean this is the mainstream media we are discussing here and if they fucked up once this week, they’ll definitely do their best to do worst in the following. Look I’m just voicing my opinion and this is just a blog.
