⚓️BIBLE REFERENCE: Joshua 14:4-5 (AMP) [4] For the sons of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim, and no portion was given in the land to the Levites except cities in which to live, with their pasture lands for their livestock and for their property.

[5] The Israelites did just as the Lord had commanded Moses, and they divided the land.

MESSAGE Now it may sound absurd, but the Truth remains that all The Blessings of The Lord are conditional. Our salvation is free only because our Lord Jesus paid the price and how costly and precious that Price was; His Life! Yet, despite it being fully paid for, it costs us the price tag called "believing" to receive it (John 3:16). You must have once wondered why many Christians aren't blessed, right? The Blessings available in the Bible are so numerous, having only a quarter of them will see a man settled throughout his life! Why then are so many Christians still suffering and living miserable lives? Jesus said it was finished on the Cross so why have the problems in your life seemed endless?

We saw how The Lord rebuked the devil over Joshua the High Priest in our previous lesson but, take another look at our memory verse! Many have also once received a blessing, but, why hasn't it been sustained? Didn't Jesus teach us to ask for our daily Bread? Simply put, we are meant to receive blessings every day! Surely you have read Psalms 23:6; "Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, And I shall dwell forever [throughout all my days] in the house and in the presence of the Lord." David wasn't just prophesying, it was his reality! 1 Chronicles 12:22 records; "For day by day men kept coming to David to help him, until there was a great army, like the army of God." Daily, not weekly, not monthly, not once-in-a-while but daily! So yes sir, it is ordained to be a reality! The Scriptures cannot be broken; His Words always come to pass. Why then have we not received the full package of what The Lord has reserved for us?

We have seemed to believe the reverse of what He has Promised. Many argue that there must be at least one bad day in the life of a believer; wrong! Isn't there a sport called hurdles, where you have to jump over obstacles flawlessly to win the prize? Tribulations are not sufficient to label a day as bad! Have you not read Proverbs 4:18; "But the path of the just (righteous) is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day." All these have happened because we have failed to pay attention to and pay the price as clearly outlined in The Scriptures! So many blessings in Deuteronomy 28:1-14 but did you take special cognisance of the conditions to receive them? Interestingly, the instructions for the Blessings are always few, such that obeying just one Instruction leads to many Blessings! Have you ever seen one seed produce only one seed after it is planted?

🎺CALL: Saying "AMEN" to prayers is wonderful but, doesn't excuse us from our Kingdom responsibilities! In this Kingdom, Victory is equal to defeat if it is not gotten by or followed by prompt, complete and perfrct obedience to the Commandments of God. Obedience is therefore the greatest expression of our faith. Yes, at salvation, His Blood sets us free but not to lawlessness; simply a change of masters. 1 Samuel 15:22-23; "Samuel said, “Has the Lord as great a delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices As in obedience to the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed [is better] than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as [serious as] the sin of divination (fortune-telling), And disobedience is as [serious as] false religion and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you as king."

How will your path shine brighter if you keep disobeying The One Who Provides The Light? Choosing to neglect, disregard or disobey The Commandments of God easily changes your Blessings to curses. Getting genuinely born again and going back to your sins is simply nailing Jesus to The Cross a second time! You need to arise to take kingdom responsibility in obeying every commandment, instruction, reproof, and correction if you are interested in flying like the eagle. Jesus healed you; great! But now you have to live for Him to remain healed. Time and again, He told those He healed in the Scriptures to never sin again before something worse happened to them. An example of something worse? Matthew 12:43-45; "Now when the unclean spirit has gone out of a man, it roams through waterless (dry, arid) places in search of rest, but it does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it arrives, it finds the place unoccupied, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and make their home there. And the last condition of that man becomes worse than the first. So will it also be with this wicked generation." Shall we enter into a fresh Covenant with The Lord to obey Him always?

🫵🏿BRIDGE: I believe you are interested in the Blessings so, let's have a look at the rewards of obedience. Leviticus 26:3-13; "If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments and [obediently] do them, then I will give you rain in its season, and the land will yield her produce and the trees of the field bear their fruit. And your threshing season will last until grape gathering and the grape gathering [time] will last until planting, and you will eat your bread and be filled and live securely in your land. I will also grant peace in the land, so that you may lie down and there will be no one to make you afraid. I will also eliminate harmful animals from the land, and no sword will pass through your land. And you will chase your enemies, and they will fall before you by the sword. Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will put ten thousand to flight; your enemies will fall before you by the sword. For I will turn toward you [with favor and regard] and make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will establish and confirm My covenant with you. You will eat the old supply of [abundant] produce, and clear out the old [to make room] for the new. I will make My dwelling among you, and My soul will not reject nor separate itself from you. I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt so that you would not be their slaves; and I broke the bars of your yoke and made you walk upright [with heads held high as free men]." Deuteronomy 28:1-14; "Now it shall be, if you diligently listen to and obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all of His commandments which I am commanding you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you pay attention to the voice of the Lord your God. You will be blessed in the city, and you will be blessed in the field. The offspring of your body and the produce of your ground and the offspring of your animals, the offspring of your herd and the young of your flock will be blessed. Your basket and your kneading bowl will be blessed. You will be blessed when you come in and you will be blessed when you go out. The Lord will cause the enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way, but flee before you seven ways. The Lord will command the blessing upon you in your storehouses and in all that you undertake, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God gives you. The Lord will establish you as a people holy [and set apart] to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk [that is, live your life each and every day] in His ways. So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will be afraid of you. The Lord will give you great prosperity, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your livestock and the produce of your ground, in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. The Lord will open for you His good treasure house, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow. The Lord will make you the head (leader) and not the tail (follower); and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen and pay attention to the commandments of the Lord your God, which I am commanding you today, to observe them carefully. Do not turn aside from any of the words which I am commanding you today, to the right or to the left, to follow and serve other gods." Though the number of curses are more for disobedience, the Blessings are potent enough to destroy every curse. Enter into a Covenant with Him to serva and obey Him for the rest of your life.

🔥PRAYER POINT: My Father, I Thank You for sending Your Word to me today. Lord Jesus, please grace to follow, obey and serve You, all the days of pur lives, grant to us afresh, in Jesus Mighty Name!
