Starting Anew: Embrace the Journey

“Every day is a new beginning. Take a deep breath, smile, and start again.”- Anonymous
We work very hard to change our lives, all our life. We try to get that job, earn money, have a loving partner to share our life with. We are constantly searching for things or people who can change our lives for the better. When we get THAT job or have a partner that loves me or have this much money, I’ll be finally happy. We hustle and hustle so much that when we reach the end of our journey, we sometimes forget why we started in the first place.
We face so many hardships that we tend to lose the sight of what is precious to us and often question the journey itself. Is it worth it? Is this where I truly want/wanted to be?
This is the place where we should stop and look back from where we started.
It can be difficult to remember why we started out, but we can take comfort in the fact that we are not where we used to be. We should be grateful for our experiences — the lessons we’ve learned on the way, the challenges we’ve overcome, the people we’ve met and the person we’ve eventually become along the way.
I recently realized that I have come so far and never truly saw how far I had come until now.
I was really hurt by various challenges and hardships I had to face and so even accepting my current pleasant situation became a task. It sounded a very scary and overwhelming possibility that I have really come so far that it doesn't hurt anymore.
When I started, I indeed wanted to earn good money, have a good reputable job, and just be happy. But as I continued, it became really hard going on and continue on the path I chose.
Then, I suddenly remembered why I started.

I realized my goal was to achieve- the flow. That’s it. The flow where I am continuously happy all time- starting my day on a positive note, doing things I love, meeting people, feeling camaraderie, spending ‘me’ time relaxing and reflecting and finally winding up for the day.
I don’t need to complicate my life thinking about all those material things and accomplishments I “need” to have to be happy.
Embracing these changes in mindset doesn't mean we have to start afresh forgetting all that happened and what we learnt. It means we can use it as a steppingstone and start anew. Accepting that life isn't about restraining yourself to a specific way of living. We can make different choices as we go and learn from mistakes. We can start over and choose another path regardless of the mistakes we made.

Living with the possibility in mind of having all things you want and living a happy life is way to go.
“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future,
concentrate the mind on the present moment.” — Buddha
