Creating a reflowable eBook: top tip when dealing with blank space!

This is just a super interesting tip I thought I’d share with you all which I came across when trying to export my InDesign file into a reflowable eBook. So I was having this issue regarding a mass amount of blank pages between my chapters as seen in Image 1.

Turns out it was just because on my original InDesign file I had loads of blank text boxes hidden behind my writing which just needed to be deleted (see Image 2).

After deleting all these extra text boxes I had no blank pages between the recipes the next time I exported to ePub (see Image 3).

I hope this helps others who are having this exact same issue. Turns out the solution is a lot simpler than expected!
