The Exorcism of Sheebu

A village priest confronts something far stranger than a demon

Sheebu is a 17‑year‑old Shetland pony — once a gentle, ambling balm to the townsfolk of Brackmouth. Now he writhes in the death throes of satanic possession, speaking in tongues and frothing with unholy intent. His condition draws the grim attention of Father Paddy Timbertugger, a Catholic minister convinced he can drive the demon from her trembling frame.

But midway through the exorcism, Sheebu breaks free and vanishes into the community. As panic spreads, Father Paddy faces an impossible choice: save the tormented pony he swore to redeem… or save the small town now squarely in the demon’s sights.
