🔹Tesler was born in 1945 in New York and studied computer science at Stanford. He then worked in Artificial Intelligence (AI) research for some time. Tesler was then hired by computing legend Alan Kay in 1973 for Xerox’s Palo Alto Research Center (PARC).

🔹At Apple, he worked on a variety of products including the Lisa computer, the Newton personal digital assistant, and the Macintosh.

🔹After leaving Apple in 1997, he co-founded an education software company and held executive positions at Amazon, Yahoo, and the genetics-testing service 23andMe before turning to independent consulting.

🔹Larry Tesler, an icon of early computing, has died at the age of 74

🔹Until his death, Tesler served as a consultant to companies like Western Union (WU) and note-taking app Evernote on how to improve their user experience on desktop and mobile. He was dedicated to innovating, simplifying, improving.
