๐Ÿง  Museum of the Mind ๐Ÿง

Far too often,

Holocaust education succeeds historically while failing psychologically.

I get why that sounds absurd to say out loud.

After all, there are museums, memorials, documentaries, survivor testimonies, non-fiction books, novels, movies, school curricula, and public ceremonies dedicated to preserving Holocaust memory.

But the challenge today is not that people do not know the Holocaust happened. It is that many people do not understand how Holocaust memory functions psychologically inside Jewish identity.

Read why in this weekโ€™s issue of Moneyball Judaism:

  1. Big Idea: Chosen Trauma
  2. Book Recommendation: *Negotiating the Non-Negotiable*
  3. What I Read This Week: The Best Free Bread in America
