Day by Day Kilimanjaro Climb Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Kilimanjaro International Airport → Moshi Town

  • Meet & greet at airport by Big Life Safari representative
  • Transfer to your hotel in Moshi
  • Pre-climb briefing and gear check with your mountain guide

Accommodation: *Chanya Lodge* Meal Plan: Dinner

Day 2: Marangu Gate (1,860m) — Mandara Hut (2,700m)

Hiking Time: ~5 hours | Distance: 8 km

  • Transfer to Marangu Gate for registration
  • Hike through rainforest zone with chances to see blue monkeys & colobus
  • Arrive at Mandara Hut, settle in, optional walk to Maundi Crater

Day 3: Mandara Hut — Horombo Hut (3,720m)

  • Arrive at Horombo Hut for acclimatization and rest

Day 4: Horombo Hut — Kibo Hut (4,703m)

  • Reach Stella Point (5,756m) for sunrise, continue to Uhuru Peak

Day 6: Horombo Hut — Marangu Gate — Moshi
