i didn’t overshare.

i met you at the most real form of myself. i didn’t hide behind the possibility of what ifs, and i didn’t think before I spoke. the words kept pouring out, as if it was the first time I had learned how to speak from my chest instead of my mouth.

i didn’t overshare.

i saw the most human way of interacting and didn’t question your motives for lending an ear or for asking me to explain my thoughts. i spoke my truth, the truest version of it, without pausing to calculate consequences.

i didn’t overshare-

but if I did, I never thought of it as oversharing.

I thought of it as a conversation between two humans. Two people sitting across from each other over invisible coffee, letting thoughts land where they may.

not performance. not confession. just presence.

a person and another person. a conversation. a real moment where voices don’t compete, they just exist alongside each other.
