I am but a Beggar

In front of my Guru, who am I, but a beggar!

A mendicant with all my flaws, cracks, and scars.

I am, but a beggar, who is just eager.

Only hungry to learn more.

To burn more.

For he took me when all I saw was Me and made me see who really resides in me.

Only my Guru saw that part of me hide, when the world fixated on the vajra’s other side.

Who am I to be “I”; as he told me who put stars in the sky?

Without any judgment he held me close,

How Sri Ramkrishna ji accepted Girish Ghosh

In front of my Guru, who am I?

He is the answer for my every cry.

Sooner or later the day will come when the real pyre catches up with my mortal being.

And beyond that day who stands with me will be this same being — My Guru Shri Praveen Radhakrishnan.

In front of my Guru, I am but a naked soul : who knows he will never be left, even after the body becomes Yama’s theft.
