Netflix’s “Stranger Things: Tales from ‘85” is terrifyingly entertaining like nothing you’ve ever seen.

The Hawkins Investigators Club, moving into the second season of Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, has its work cut out for it. The first season gave us great insight into the characters we all love. Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, Netflix’s Top Ten Shows, debuted at №7. The animated episodes span 27–32 minutes.

Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 is not an ordinary animated series. The animated series, a perfect complement to the live-action Stranger Things (2016–2025), feels genuinely authentic. The first season, set between seasons two and three of Stranger Things, is brilliant. Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 is arguably one of the best animated shows ever made.

Animated shows, contrary to popular belief, are not just for children. There are animated series specifically created for adult audiences. Anyone who thinks animated productions are just for children probably never paid any attention to South Park, Family Guy, and The Simpsons. Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 is clearly an adult-themed show. It could be categorized as an older teen or adult drama. The evidence speaks for itself.

Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 saw Eleven (voiced by Brooklyn Davey Norstedt), Mike (Luca Diaz), Will (Benjamin Plessala), Dustin (Braxton Quinney), Lucas (Elisha “EJ” Williams), Max (Jolie Hoang-Rappaport), and Nikki (Odessa A’zion) uncovering a hellishly fearsome mystery. The second season will present our young heroes with another perilous threat.
