Though I firmly believe “Blogger Baddie Award” would’ve been more on-brand for me.

To everyone who tags me… guys I see you, literally. I may take my sweet, dramatic, fashionably late time to respond… but trust me, I register everything. It’s mentally bookmarked, emotionally acknowledged, and silently appreciated until my post drops.

A little digging (‘coz Meta girl got me curious)

Sunshine Blogger Award is like a legacy chain, basically a tradition.

We’re talking floating around blogs since ~2009. I didn’t find who actually started it but by 2014–2016, it was widespread and described as something already “making its way through the blogging world.”

Medium picked it up later (we arrived late… as usual).

The earliest I found here is from April, 2017 by Elena Gioti. (Read here) And oldest of all is by Hobbychic in December, 2009 in a WordPress post.

This award sure has quite a history.

Okayy, we’re good to go to the fun part!

Onto the questions by Meta… I’ll try to answer them to the best of my current abilities and capabilities.

1. If life has a soundtrack. What music describes today, or lately? I see… you mean mood swings. Lately I’m super charged, so I think this one is describing me the most.

2. If your life is a reality show. What would it be called? “I’ll Do It… Eventually.” I’m procrastinating professionally at this point.

3. What would your warning label say? “Dormant RDX. If you cried, that’s on you.”

4. What’s a small thing that instantly improves your mood? When I check my daily limit internet data and there’s still some MB left. That’s all I needed these days.

5. What’s your go-to excuse when you don’t want to do something? Okayy… this one’s a little exposing. I say… I have urgent work. If asked what work? I make it sound like I’m running the world.

6. Do you talk to yourself? How often? When does this usually happen? I used to think this is a type of illness, not even kidding. But now I think it’s pretty normal, right? Well… I do. A lot, usually when I misplace my earphones.

7. What’s a “default setting” you wish you could change about yourself? Fast driving. There’s traffic, kids, elderlies, animals who usually don’t care about vehicles. Look… I do try to care about them, but iykyk.

8. What do you avoid even though you know it might help you? Consistency. It’s basically a toxic relationship.

9. What’s something you learned the hard way that actually stuck? That I should be a morning glory instead of a night owl. But the actual question is… do I act on it?

10. What do you look like on your worst day? A lion? A snake? As calm as stone? Or maybe like the devil itself? Like Hong Hae-In in Queen of Tears (kdrama). You may think like… beauty under pressure.

11. Tell us one of your favorite stories in Medium. Who wrote it? What made it special? But you can’t use words to explain it. Use Emojis instead! That would be fun as well as frustrating! But I know you can do it! I have many favs here, but one of them is the one I keep going back to. I even wrote my perspective on it but it’s still sitting in my drafts.
