There are multiple faces of London. It is one of the global cosmopolitan cities. There are over 50 ethnic groups in the city consisting of 10,000 people above. It has more than 8 millions of people.

London is full of significant buildings, the world-famous museums, theatres, concert halls, airports, railway stations and palaces. You will have to visit certain places in the city such as the Big Ben, London eye, tower Bridge and tower of London. A drawbridge includes the Tower Bridge on river Thames. It implies that there is an opportunity to open it. The Tower of London can be viewed near the Tower Bridge. Previously it was a prison, palace of execution and currently a showcase of the Crown Jewels. You cannot omit mentioning the Buckingham Palace which is the residence of the Queen and the Royal Family. Changing the Guard is highly formal as the team of guards protecting the Buckingham Palace is subjected to change by a new team of soldiers. People watching the ceremony pay nothing and a large number of persons around the globe gather outside the palace to see the ceremony.

Piccadilly Circus is another iconic site as it is the most recognised road intersections worldwide. It became iconic in one way or another: its unusual architecture, the recognizable commercials that decorate structures, the statue of Eros in the center and the number of shops you can observe there.

The weather of London is accompanied by rains and mists; however, it is not raining always in the Britain. What are Londoners able to do when it is good weather? There are over1700 parks in the city. The city has about 30 percent of its area as parks and green spaces. Hyde park is the largest park in the heart of the city. It can be walked around in an approximate 90 minutes. There is also possibility of going out on a boat in the water.

London is also a place where one can watch sports. Cricket is the national sport of London. It is a game that is played by two different teams of eleven players; each has a bat and hits a ball. However Cricket is not so successful as Football and Arsenal, Chelsea and other teams play in London.
