Some even insist Ash’s Pikachu refused to evolve into Raichu because he didn’t want to get weight.

It’s obvious Raichu is bigger and heavier than Pikachu.

…OMG. Raichu is five times as heavy as Pikachu!

Pikachu was chubby at the beginning of the journey.

Chunky Pikachu is sometimes called Chunkachu by Pokemon or Pikachu fans.

Pikachu is always awesome just the way he is, though.

As the 1st generation of Pokemon, or what they call “Generation Ⅰ”, the chubby Pikachu looks more familiar to me and it actually is the original.
