Sound writing Process Reflection

Where are you in your sound writing process? I’m at the point where I just have to record my final part.

What’s been done and what’s still left to do? Pretty much everything is done except the last part I need to record.

What are your biggest accomplishments and failures so far? My biggest accomplishment is that I actually finished most of this assignment. My failure is that I stutter a lot when I talk.

How do you feel about that? I feel pretty good honestly.

What have you learned so far? I learned a lot about the renku and how it works.

What ideas did you grapple with? The book helped me understand stuff better, so that made it easier.

Which problems have you solved, and which are you still dealing with? I really haven’t solved any big problems, and I’m not really dealing with any right now.

How might you overcome the challenges and struggles? Just practicing more will help.

What decisions have you made lately as you plan your project? To talk slower and more confident so I don’t mess up as much.

What is the next step in your composing process? Recording the final part.

What do you need to do, know, and write? Nothing really.

How are you feeling about your progress toward achieving your purpose? I feel good because I’m almost done and I think I’m doing what the assignment wants.

How are you feeling about your progress toward affecting your audience? I think I’m doing alright because I’m trying to speak clearly so people understand me.

How are you feeling about your progress toward fitting your work in the right time and place? I think it fits fine because I used what we learned in class and followed the directions.

How are you feeling about your progress toward following the expectations of your genre? I think I’m doing what the genre asks because it sounds like a real sound writing project and not too fancy.
