What Will Gaming Look Like in 2050? I Made a Whole Film to Find Out.
A fictional short made entirely with AI.
Do you ever think about what gaming will look like in 20 or 30 years? I do. Probably too much.
One day, the idea just wouldn’t leave me alone, so I did the only reasonable thing. I made a whole video about it. A little fictional film. And the fun part is, I made the entire thing with AI. No camera, no actors, nothing shot for real.
I think you’ll actually like it. Here it is:

**This Is What Gaming Looks Like in 2050 🎮🔥**
It’s part of a series I’m building called DEELSEWERLD, set in the year 2050. Let me paint that world for a second before you watch.
By 2050, AI and robots will basically run everything. They build the houses, cook the food, drive the cars, and run the offices. Most of the jobs people used to do are just gone, replaced by machines that never get tired. Life is comfortable, clean and automated. But it leaves people with a weird new question: if the machines do everything, what are we even here for?
That question is kind of the whole point of the series. Every episode is a small story from this future, looking at one corner of life and asking what’s left for us in it.
This episode is about gaming. And it’s nothing like what we have now.
In 2050, you don’t hold a controller. You put on a pair of glasses, and your body becomes the game. Your living room turns into a battlefield. And you’re not alone in there; you get a creature called Ember, a fire-dragon that’s basically born from your own emotions. It fights with you, gets tired of you, and at one point, straight up takes a hit meant for you.
The story follows one player as they dive through six worlds: a sky arena, a jungle, a neon city, a lava foundry with a giant robot, an ice kingdom, and a desert. I wanted each one to feel less like a scene and more like an actual place you could go.
And like I said, none of it is filmed. It’s all AI in the world, the dragon, the robot, the voices, the music. Just me, a laptop, and a stack of tools that barely existed a couple of years ago.
It wasn’t easy, to be fair. Half the job is fighting the AI faces that won’t stay the same, text that comes out misspelt, and a dragon that randomly swings at the wrong guy. I redid some shots way more times than I’d like to admit. But the gap between “I have this picture in my head” and “it’s on the screen” is smaller than it’s ever been. For one person working alone, that still feels a little unreal.
Under all the games and robots, though, DEELSEWERLD is really about us. About what being human means when machines can do almost everything. Episode 1 asked what job no robot could ever do. This one asks where we go to feel alive when the rest is automated.
I’m putting out a new short film every week. If you’ve got 11 minutes, watch the full thing up top, and then tell me honestly: would you actually play a game like this? I really want to know.
(This is a work of fiction. Everything in it is AI-generated and made for entertainment. Any resemblance to real people is purely coincidental.)
