Shared COVAX vaccines for poorer countries: a fact box

According to GAVI data, the COVAX facility, backed by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), has delivered 1.59 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccine to 146 countries.

By mid-2022, COVAX intends to achieve 70% coverage of COVID-19.
