Contemporary lore: “Jump the Shark,” that moment when a TV show starts to suffer creatively and its ratings collapse.

A misnomer, though, Happy Days was just behind the spinoff Laverne and Shirley in 1978, and it continued strong until 1984.

But! “Jump the Shark” permeated the lexicon…

A lot of us are standing back now watching Orange Man line up for the ramp, and he’s leaning in.

He is The King, after all!

How can the richest man in Presidential history also be the most blue-collar?

Crazy as that sounds, he was, and he reached guys like me, well-off business owners. He reached the guys who work for me too. He reached the people who owned small restaurants and auto-repair shops. He reached people who thought he really was out for the working man!

First Term:

Russian Collusion — Fusion GPS funded by Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party. “The dossier” DJT’s penchant to have Russian hookers piss on him was a nice touch.

Crossfire Hurricane — Ex-FBI Director and Alzheimer’s candidate Robert Mueller wasted $25 million to declare Russia interfered in our election (just like we interfere in theirs), but no one named Trump had anything to do with it. The same conclusion came to everyone with common sense, and an open mind.

First Impeachment — Favorite CA shithead Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, and Nancy Pelosi prosecute Trump for asking for an investigation into Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. Specifically, claims that Joe Biden pressured Ukraine to fire prosecutor Viktor Shokin to protect Hunter, who had served on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company.

Meanwhile, I watched Joe Biden on TV:

“… I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, you’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a bitch. He got fired.”

All I saw Trump say, “It was a very nice conversation.”

Quid Pro Quo:

Trump asked for an investigation.

Biden demanded, “Fire the fucker, and I’ll give you the money.”

You decide.

**25th Amendment — **“Trump is unfit, his cabinet is going to remove him.” DJT didn’t get guided back to the group by Giorgia Meloni at the parachute demonstration.

Trump looks like a lot of things, too many Big Macs for starters, but my father-in-law has to be guided, I know what dementia looks like and it’s not like the guy who says crazy shit on TV.

My option other than Trump was Kamala Harris. She’s got to be reasonably smart to become a prosecutor, but I can’t vote for somebody without an authentic bone in their body. Watch her explanation of “inflation”, or “yellow school buses”.

Couldn’t one person on her team have taken her aside and said, “Hey, don’t try to sound smart, just be honest.”

Charlottesville “very fine people” — full context showed Trump explicitly condemned neo-Nazis, but you’d never know it hearing the news.

MSNBC and CNN loved the talking points — ABC, NBC, CBS, and PBS too!

4 years off:

2nd Impeachment and J6 — Incitement to Insurrection, he’d already lost the election, yet they pursued his conviction to ensure he could not run again.

They weren’t punishing Trump; they were punishing those of us who wanted him as a choice.

Hush Money Case — Better than any contortionist, Alvin Bragg elevated misdemeanors to felonies and processed the same accounting entry 34 times. Convicted on all counts — Manhattan. This is the one that reminds me, “Show me the man, I’ll show you the crimes.”

I’d love to hear from my fellow business owners reading this, how would you fare with the standard applied to your accounting books?

Classified Documents and election interference, Jack Smith — Biden had them in his Corvette in his garage in Delaware. Pence had them in his house in Indiana. Trump had them locked up in Mar-a-Lago. Then Smith pursued him for free speech, too.

Election Interference, Fani Willis — weak evidence against Trump, and strong evidence for conflict of interest. She was banging the lead prosecutor, Nathan Wade, and paid him $650,000 for the privilege.

And how about this? Every bank you worked with testified that they weren’t defrauded, they would do business with you again, and all debts were paid in full! And in that environment, Letitia James secured a $450 million fine against Trump.

If the government could do that to one of the most powerful people in the country, what could that same government do to you or to me?

E. Jean Carroll Civil Case — Me too! This one is the most infuriating. Justice is not supposed to be venue specific. Put this trial in Orange County, and no one is convicting Trump…

Carroll was awarded $88 million, even though the Donna Karan dress she claimed she wore when assaulted wasn’t even made until after it ostensibly happened.

She said, “I didn’t initially realize the full significance and didn’t report it to police or seek video/surveillance at the time.”

Second Term?

“I promise no wars!”

“I’m going to bomb the hell out of them!”

Then he settled with the IRS. And no one named Trump can ever be audited!

That’s a great gig if you can get it. I’d never pay taxes again!

Has Trump gone off the rails?

They did everything in their power to bankrupt him and put him in jail for the rest of his life. The gloves are off and he doesn’t give a shit.

He’s lined up, but he’s not on skis, he’s in one of those big-ass cigarette boats with six 450-horsepower outboards.

The shark doesn’t have a chance.

I’m not really thrilled about it, but I can’t say that I blame him.

And who is the most trusted news source with the most listeners in America today?

MSNBC? Nope.

CNN? Nope.

ABC? Nope.

NBC? Nope.

CBS? Nope.

PBS? Nope.

FOX NEWS? Nope.
