BooBoo Hid For Three Days

He was terrified of the window-cleaning ropes

The annual window cleaning service was abandoned on Saturday afternoon after it started pouring. I watched fearfully as they lowered their large rectangular platform onto my balcony before redirecting it to rest safely beside the glass panels.

I had visitors over later in the day and was puzzled that my usually friendly Boo never showed his face. Nor did he come out for supper — which is not like him at all!

On the other hand, Bubba — the black brat — has become quite social. He’s all for scritches and pats from anyone these days.

I coaxed Booboo out eventually, but when he gingerly approached his food tray, with one eye toward the balcony, I realized what was bothering him.

Sadly, it was a long weekend, so my poor kitty spent the entire weekend under my bed.

Poor Booboo!
