Writer at Heart

Writing is one of my true loves. I have been writing ever since I can remember, back when I was a little boy in grade school. I enjoy expressing myself, whether it’s current events, food-related, or simply writing a special greeting to a dear friend or family member. Writing is my true medium. Over the years, I have discovered that journaling about my thoughts has become helpful as life can be rather turbulent at times, and that’s to be expected when life happens. Journaling my feelings and life events has been helpful when my brain gets so crowded with scattered thoughts. Journaling helps me process and organize my thoughts. Another reason I enjoy writing is that there is no wrong answer. I am the author of everything I put on paper; it’s my world. An individual can like what I write or not; it’s totally up to them. I am the boss of the pencil or pen, and that’s it. Enough of that talk im sure you get the idea of what I am saying. I hope you find my writing thought-provoking, informative, and sometimes entertaining. I am an Orlando native with a goal of becoming a published author. I am exploring this world of digital writing and publishing, and I have to say, things have definitely changed, but I am happy to be on this journey. When I am not at my desk writing, I am most often out with friends or family, exploring the place where the world comes to visit on vacation. There is always something new and exciting in the city beautiful. My name is Samuel Sinclair West, and I hope you will join me on this wonderful journey of words and letters.
