G̶o̶o̶o̶o̶o̶o̶o̶o̶d̶ ̶M̶o̶r̶n̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶R̶e̶a̶d̶e̶r̶s̶!̶ …….I mean, Welcome back.

If you’ve spent any time on the internet lately, you’ve probably noticed that everyone seems to be an expert. There are experts on careers, relationships, investing, parenting, cooking, travel, and apparently even the correct way to load a dishwasher. Somewhere along the way, ordinary parts of life became things we were expected to optimize.

Personally, I think we’ve overcomplicated everything.

A haircut is just a haircut…until it isn’t.

A graduation speech is supposed to be inspiring, but sometimes the most memorable speeches are the ones nobody lets you give.

Even the annual performance review — that strange workplace tradition where someone you’ve known for three months explains who you’ve been for the last twelve.

This issue is a celebration of those wonderfully ordinary moments that become far more dramatic than they have any right to be. Sometimes life isn’t defined by the biggest events. Sometimes it’s the tiny social rituals that leave us with the best stories.

So settle in, pour yourself something cold, and enjoy another Saturday night.
