Mining Bitcoin at home has become one of my favorite hobbies, and over the past year, I’ve slowly built a small mining setup. Today, I’m running around 24 TH/s across six Bitaxe 602 units, one NerdAxe++, and an Avalon 3s. It’s not the kind of hashrate that’s going to shake the network, but it’s powerful enough to make solo mining exciting.
I’ve loved the philosophy behind open‑source hardware, and that’s what drew me to the Bitaxe ecosystem in the first place. My six overclocked Bitaxe 602s hum quietly throughout the day, delivering consistent hashrate while barely sipping electricity. The NerdAxe++ adds a nice little boost, and the Avalon 3s rounds out the fleet with a steady contribution.
