When I saw the prompt word of ‘Sounding’, I immediately thought of depth sounding, you know, Mark Twain, and sensing the depth of rivers.

But for grins, I Googled ‘Sounding’ because I’d heard it used in sexual practice. Holy Mackerel!!

So, it turns out you can buy urethral sounding rods on Amazon and eBay! Yup, buy these rods you can shove, okay, slide gently, up the urethra for sexual(?) sensations. Right. Nope, not me.

Been there medically, and that wasn’t fun. Believe me. And the Lidocaine injection wasn’t fun to begin with. But sliding a pencil-caliber tube up inside didn’t float my boat.

It didn’t help when the doctor, as cute as she was, said, ‘Oops!’ while looking around.

But if you’re into that, just be careful. Do it right, and safely.
