NetX DAO AMA Recap: Key Updates and What’s Ahead for the NetX Ecosystem

Today, the NetX DAO community came together for our first AMA of 2026 — a session focused on delivery, real-world progress, and what’s next for the NetX ecosystem.
Here are the key highlights from this period. Check them out here, or join the *DAO community *and start reading from this message 👉🏻https://t.me/netx_dao/1330/106227
1. Sharing about the achievements in 2025
Looking back, 2025 was a year of pivotal transformation for NetX. In the past year, we accomplished several major milestones crucial to our long-term development:
- First, NetX officially transitioned into a DAO community. We launched our governance system, initiated proposals and voting, and began involving the community in key decisions, marking NetX’s entry into the stage of autonomy.
- Second, the ecosystem economy and integration proposal passed with a high approval rate of 97.8%. This fully launched our ecosystem integration and facilitated the successful listing of $NETX on multiple exchanges — a process where community power played a critical role.
- Third, the enterprise-grade payment model was officially launched. Moving beyond concepts, we established deep collaborations with multiple local projects in Japan to bring Web3 payments into real-world commercial scenarios.
- Finally, from infrastructure to the application layer, NetX’s trusted computing technology has been deployed and is continuously running in real-world scenarios through our partnership with WEA and Netstars. This marks a significant step from “building” to “being used.”
These achievements do not belong to any single person or team; they belong to the entire NetX community. 2025 was not just a milestone for NetX, but a victory created jointly by every participant.
2. What makes NetX’s stablecoin payment different?
The difference lies here: We are not turning stablecoins into a “crypto credit card”; we are truly bringing Web3 payments into real-world, offline scenarios.
When users pay with stablecoins like USDC, merchants receive the settlement directly in fiat currency. The entire process is practically frictionless for the merchant, truly bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3.
In the past two months, we have already seen very clear, concrete use cases:
- We supported the launch of the Global Cross-border Digital Payment Ecosystem Alliance, providing the underlying infrastructure for our Japanese partners.
- Subsequently, we formed a strategic partnership with WEA, a Japanese Web3 payment infrastructure platform.
- By integrating with Netstars — Japan’s largest Web2 payment giant — we officially launched USDC stablecoin payments in merchant scenarios at Tokyo Haneda Airport.
Users simply scan a code to pay with USDC, and merchants receive Japanese Yen (JPY) directly, without needing to handle currency exchange or understand Web3.
The key here isn’t whether you can pay, but where you can pay. With a network of over 600,000 POS terminals in real-world offline scenarios already in place, this demonstrates that NetX was designed for large-scale commercial adoption from the very beginning, rather than a mere Demo or Proof of Concept (PoC).
On a technical level, this relies on NetX’s Trusted Payment Network and a modular, verifiable payment process. It is decentralized, secure, compliant, and highly efficient, while reserving ample room for future business scalability.
Additionally, following the announcement of our partnership with WEA, other projects in the payment sector have already actively reached out to us, seeking collaboration based on NetX’s network capabilities. This further validates the practical value of our approach.
This year, we will work with more partners to push stablecoin payments into even more real-life scenarios. This is not just a short-term trend; it is a long-term trajectory that is actively being proven.
3. What Holding $NETX Really Means: Value, Utility, and Ecosystem Rights
Certainly. $NETX is not a token driven solely by market sentiment; rather, it anchors the core value distribution within NetX’s self-sustaining economic cycle.
This value is mainly reflected in the following five aspects:
-
Tech-as-a-Service (TaaS) NetX generates revenue by providing core technical capabilities to partners. For instance, partners like WEA and CoderBar call upon NetX’s trusted technology network. Additionally, other enterprises can purchase official ecosystem services and developer services, with developers receiving a percentage of the revenue share. Crucially, the remaining total revenue from this process will fund a buyback and burn program.
-
Mainnet Operations & Gas Fees Following the mainnet upgrade, all future on-chain Gas consumption will require $NETX, making it the indispensable “fuel” for the operation of the NetX network.
-
Layer -1 Trusted Network & Security Incentives Once the Layer -1 trusted network launches, users holding $NETX can employ “AI Engineers” to facilitate mutual verification between nodes. By participating in network protection, they will earn corresponding network security rewards.
-
Enterprise Staking & Payment Ecosystem Expansion Enterprises can stake $NETX to unlock specific resource access and data retrieval permissions. Furthermore, project teams can join the Token Payment Alliance. Upon meeting risk control standards, their native tokens can be listed as optional assets for “Intent Payments” within the wallet, allowing their community members to use those tokens for real-world purchases.
-
Wallet-Level Privileges Within the NetX Wallet, $NETX holders can accelerate point accumulation and enable the Intent Payment feature. In the future, they will also gain access to joint campaigns with other ecosystem projects, such as whitelist spots or exclusive holiday events.

4. NetX Staking Explained: Models, Mechanics, and Network Security
1️⃣ Two Staking Models in the NetX Ecosystem NetX will be launching two staking models for the ecosystem.
The first model is the Layer -1 Trusted Network Protection. In this mode, you “hire” an AI Engineer to participate in node cross-verification and network security. Once the employment period concludes, you will receive rewards generated by the AI Engineer’s work.
As you may have seen from the UI previews I tweeted before the New Year, this is a Community Experience Version, and it is expected to go live as early as next week.
The second model involves providing LP liquidity. This model is currently in the functional design phase, so let’s look forward to the launch of the first model first.
2️⃣ How Staking Works: From AI Engineers to Network Rewards In the past, node protection was something only a small number of technical users could participate in. Now, in the NetX ecosystem, we have created a co-building mechanism for network guardianship where everyone can participate and earn long-term rewards.
The underlying logic of node protection is actually quite simple: users don’t need to run complex nodes themselves. Instead, you hire AI Engineers to handle node verification, network monitoring, and anomaly protection.
For example, as long as you participate in network protection, your rewards are determined by the level of your AI Engineer and the duration of the security tasks performed. You can choose a protection duration of 1 month, 6 months, or 12 months. Essentially, the more you contribute to the network’s security, the more you earn. On top of the base rewards, you can proactively choose to do more to earn higher returns.
When users participate in node protection, they simultaneously trigger a Burn mechanism.
The AI Engineers you hire have different reward tiers based on their level — higher-level engineers yield higher rewards. You can choose to upgrade your engineers using $NETX to incentivize them to complete more advanced network protection tasks. That portion of $NETX enters the Ecosystem Burn Pool (reducing supply).
This model is a long-term mechanism that allows users to truly become guardians of the network. In the next version, you will see even more detailed mechanism designs, and we will continue to disclose more details as we progress.
5. NetX’s plans and roadmap for the new year?
For NetX, 2026 will no longer be a stage of conceptual exploration; it will be the year when core infrastructure and business models are fully implemented. We will advance several key milestones centered around the Mainnet, Payments, AI, Ecosystem, and the DAO community.
1️⃣ Mainnet Gas Upgrade $NETX will officially upgrade to become the Gas token for the Mainnet. In the future, all on-chain activities — including payment settlements, contract calls, and intent-based transaction executions — will require $NETX.
When designing the NetX Mainnet Gas system, we are benchmarking against public chains that have already proven large-scale applications, such as BNB Chain, Solana, and Polygon. Our design philosophy does not chase “extreme low cost” at the expense of quality; instead, we emphasize verifiability, stability, and suitability for payment scenarios:
- Basic Transactions & Simple Payments: Benchmarked against the lower range of BNB Chain.
- Complex Payments, Intent Transactions, & AI Scheduling: Dynamic consumption based on computational load, with the goal of keeping the user experience “low-friction.”
This not only activates the technical utility of $NETX but also means our previous partners and businesses will migrate to the Mainnet, deeply connecting the NetX network with the real world.
2️⃣ -1 Layer Trusted Network Upgrade The -1 Layer Trusted Network will complete its upgrade and be officially integrated into the Mainnet Explorer. This turns network security from a “background mechanism” into a visible part of the ecosystem that the community can perceive and participate in.
3️⃣ Deepening Roots in Japan & Expanding into Southeast Asia Regarding payments, we will continue to strengthen our presence in the Japanese market while systematically laying the groundwork for Southeast Asian payment and settlement scenarios. This includes high-frequency real-world use cases such as POS systems, airports, and cross-border payments, driving the large-scale adoption of stablecoin and Web3 payments.
4️⃣ Web3 Payment Alliance Ecosystem A major focus for 2026 is building the Web3 Payment Alliance. Project teams can join this ecosystem by staking $NETX and meeting NetX risk control standards. Once integrated, their native tokens can be used for Intent Payments within the NetX Wallet, allowing users to pay for goods using the project tokens they are most familiar with.
5️⃣ Continuous AI Evolution NetX will continuously iterate on its AI models to embrace the technological evolution of the era. We want AI to go beyond just serving users — it will actively participate in network operations, payment scheduling, and security collaboration, gradually building the Mainnet into an AIA (AI for AI) service network.
6️⃣ DAO Governance Upgrade Following last year’s release of the DAO governance blueprint, the new year will see every community member participating more deeply in voting, resource allocation, and network governance, ensuring the community is a vital component of the network’s long-term operation.
7️⃣ User Experience & Website Refresh We will launch a brand-new NetX official website, enabling community members and partners to more quickly understand the NetX ecosystem, business models, and product services.
Wrapping Up
As NetX moves into 2026, the focus is clear: real delivery, sustainable mechanics, and deeper community participation. From trusted network protection and staking models to real-world payment pilots and ecosystem integrations, everything discussed during this AMA points toward one direction — building a network that is secure, open, and co-owned by its users.
This AMA was not an endpoint, but a checkpoint. Many of the mechanisms shared are already in motion, and more details will continue to be released as features go live. We invite every community member to stay engaged, ask questions, and participate in shaping the next phase of the NetX ecosystem.
Thank you to everyone who joined the session and contributed thoughtful questions. We look forward to building, shipping, and growing together — one milestone at a time.
