Why “Top-Tier Men” Are Just Average Women

Let’s get real: everyone talks about what women should do how we should look, behave, tolerate, adjust, and sacrifice. Cool. But have you ever stopped to think about what men actually bring to the table?

Because if men are writing the handbook for “real women,” then surely they should be showing us what a “real man” is, right?

And yet… a lot of them are busy collecting praise for doing the absolute minimum.

The Basics, People

Being a man isn’t rocket science. Here’s the starter pack:

• Be honest (even when it’s uncomfortable).
• Take responsibility for your actions (yes, all of them).
• Control your emotions so they don’t become everyone else’s problem.
• Respect people especially your partner.
• Show up for your kids, don’t just send money and call it a day.
• Support your partner’s ambitions, not just your own ego.

Do these and you’re not “amazing.” You’re just… functioning. That’s called adulting, and no one should be writing a viral post about it.

Providing financially? Not a hero move. It’s your job. If all your love language is money, maybe it’s time to find a new dictionary.

“Top-Tier Men” Are Marketing Gimmicks

Society has a funny way of turning basic decency into a trophy. A man cooks once? Viral. A man doesn’t cheat? Break out the confetti.

Meanwhile, women are: working, managing households, handling kids, absorbing emotional labor, and somehow keeping the vibes calm. And no one is applauding that.

Here’s the reality: the things men are praised for faithfulness, communication, support are average expectations for women. The world just forgot to mention it.

Raising the Standard

So what should men actually do if they want to be considered more than “average”?

• Notice and appreciate the work women do.
• Match effort with consistency and presence.
• Sacrifice pride, not just comfort.
• Stand up when others fail instead of hiding behind excuses.

A “top-tier man” shouldn’t be rare. He should be… normal.

Because the truth is: women do these things every day without a viral thread, without applause, without a medal. And if men can’t match that? Maybe it’s time to rethink the table they’re building.
