Big innovation on small devices: The emBO++ is back!

The emBO++ is back! On March 6–7, 2025, embedded C++ enthusiasts from all over Europe will gather in the hallowed halls of Ruhr University Bochum. In the university’s corridors, you’ll hear animated discussions about the latest trends, tricky debugging problems, and the pros and cons of various compilers. The air buzzes with ideas as small groups huddle in corners to sketch circuit diagrams or spontaneously analyze code snippets. This is more than networking — it’s passionate learning, nerding out, and collaboratively shaping the future of embedded C++.

Organized under the auspices of the non-profit association Open Skunkforce e.V., the conference offers a unique platform for exchange, innovation, and inspiration — created by developers, for developers. emBO++ stands for technical excellence, exciting insights, and a one-of-a-kind sense of community.

With around 120 experts from various fields of embedded development, attendees can expect an inspiring mix of talks, discussions, and networking opportunities. True to its motto: Learn, share, connect — and shape the future of embedded C++ together.
