Overview of the Empire
Nestled within the folds of the eastern realm, “Drakvaria” emerges as a realm shrouded in an enigma and legends. A land where the past and present weave together like the threads of an age-old tapestry, this empire stands as a living testament to a lineage that dates back to the era of the majestic dragons. Drakvaria’s inhabitants, descendants of these once-mighty beings, hold their heritage as a cherished gem in the crown of their identity, a symbol of their unbreakable bond with the winged denizens that once ruled the skies.
The very name they called themselves as, “Drakvaria,” resonates with a sense of reverence and pride, a harmonious blend of syllables that translate to “The lands of Drakvarics.” In this realm, the wind whispers the stories of soaring dragons and roaring flames that once painted even the heavens itself. With each footstep, the Drakvarics tread upon hallowed ground, connecting them to the very essence of their ancestral beings. Their eyes, as fierce as the dragons of yore, reflect the steadfast spirit that courses through their veins, a testament to their undying legacy.
A panorama of awe-inspiring landscapes unfolds across the wide expanse of Drakvaria. Lowlands stretch like ancient canvases painted with hues of emerald and gold, an intricate mix of forests, open grasslands and fields of grains, leading the way to hillsides that seem to touch the very sky. Coastal towns, where the scent of brine mingles with the echo of distant waves, serve as sentinels of both the empire’s boundaries and its connection to the sea. It is a realm where nature thrives in harmony, a place where dragons once ruled and their descendants now stand as stewards of this delicate equilibrium.
Yet, for all its beauty and mystique, Drakvaria remains a realm that harbours an air of isolation. Its people, as fierce and unyielding as the dragons they hail from, regard outsiders with an untrusting gaze. Outsiders bear witness to the walls they raise, barriers as formidable as the wings of their ancient kin. Tensions simmer even within their closest relationships; their alliance with the Vargens to the North-West, though strategically crucial, is rife with the strain of two cultures clashing against the backdrop of shared history. Whereas to the west, the Vakaruan border stands as a testament to even deeper animosity, where the lands reverberate with the echoes of skirmishes that sporadically erupt along the frontiers. Blades clash and magic ignites as the Drakvarics fiercely defend their realm against the perceived threats that loom just beyond their borders. A cauldron of hostility simmers, a reminder that even the fiercest of dragons can be provoked to unleash their wrath.
Amidst this tumultuous landscape, the capital city, Dragon Spire, stands as a citadel of both beauty and power. Within its walls, the ruling Hiryugarda family resides, tracing their lineage to the very heart of the ancient dragons themselves. The city, like a phoenix reborn, exemplifies the resilience and strength of the Drakvaric spirit. Yet, beneath its magnificent façade, tensions brew. The three Municipalities, ruled by royal families including Tatsuvaar, Hiryugarda, and Vrangvaar, vie for influence, each maneuvering for their place in the intricate dance of power.
As shadows lengthen and stars begin to twinkle, the Council of Drakvaria convenes. This assemblage of regents, high priests, scholars, librarians, and military commanders forms the executive branch that carries out the Emperor’s will. An interplay of diverse voices, each bringing their expertise to the table, guides the empire through its destiny, ensuring the flame of Drakvaric sovereignty never wavers.
In this realm where history dances with myth, where dragons once soared the skies and now still lingers in spirit, the story of Drakvaria unfolds. An empire fueled by the its fiery past, embroiled in the turmoil of its present, and destined to shape the fate of its future amidst the whispers of legend and the echoes of the roars of their ancestral Dragons.

A city that transcends mere architecture, it is a symphony of soaring spires and curving archways, a mixture of vibrant parks of flowers, rows and rows of homes and mighty city walls, where each stone seems to whisper secrets passed down through generations. It is the very soul of the empire, where the grandeur of the past converges with the vigor of the present.

Descendants of the most venerable of dragons, they bear themselves with a regal air and a commanding presence, their every movement echoing the grace and power of their ancestral mothers as their words thunders with the very will of their gods. Horns that curves with such an unmatched artistry crowns their heads, a testament to their bloodline’s connection to the dragons that once conquered the skies. Wings unfurl as mighty as the Imperial banner itself across their backs, extending far beyond their frames. With these wings, Drakvarics ascend to the skies, defying gravity with the grace and agility that harks back to the days when dragons ruled the heavens. The air becomes their domain, an element entwined with their very essence.
As one journeys towards the coast, another city beckons, its shores caressed by the gentle waves of the Bay of Drakvaria. Here, the sea beckons the stories of traders and adventurers alike, attuned to the rhythm in of the empire’s heartbeat. It is a city that stands as a tribute to the union of land and water, where ships dock to trade tales as well as goods, where the horizon seems to stretch ever onwards, mirroring the limitless spirit of the Drakvaric people.
Yet, within the grandeur, the empire is woven from threads of noble families and their ambitions. The Municipalities, each ruled by their own royal lineages: Tatsuvaar, Hiryugarda, and Vrangvaar , form a dance of power and influence. Though, beneath the façade of unity lies the subtle tension that accompanies a struggle for ascendancy. Even as they acknowledge the Hiryugarda as the rightful bloodline to rule, each family vies for a piece of the empire’s legacy, their interactions a delicate ballet of diplomacy and rivalry.
At the heart of governance lies the Council of Drakvaria, an assembly that represents the empire’s multifaceted nature. Regents aseell as Princes and Princesses act as the conduits of power for each Imperial Family, standing alongside high priests who bear the responsibility as the bridges between the mortal plane and the divine, their chants carrying the echoes of ancient rituals. Scholars and librarians, the custodians of knowledge and truth, illuminate the path towards the future with the wisdom and faults of the past. Within this council, generals and commanders acts as the sentinels which forge strategies that guard the empire, their decisions echoing in the clash of swords and the hum of arcane spells.
- The Grand Principality of Hiryugarda
The Grand Principality of Hiryugarda, beating heart of Drakvaric governance, military might, and economic prowess, pulsates with the fervor of devotion to the Zil’Drogna faith and the legacy of draconic supremacy. While the Hiryugarda lineage reigns supreme, their ascent to power is not merely a matter of birthright but a trial by fire, a testament to their worthiness to bear the mantle of rulership in the empire of scales and flames.
As the pinnacle of zealous fervor, the principality of Hiryugarda stands adorned with colossal statues venerating the mightiest and most divine Dragonic deities, their imposing forms casting shadows that echo the resolute faith of its people. The air crackles with the palpable energy of martial tradition, carried forth on the wings of generations past and etched into the very bedrock of society. Here, the Hiryugarda hold sway not only through their bloodline but through their unwavering dedication to the sacred tenets of their faith, their devotion as unyielding as the mountains that cradle Dragon Spire.
The Hiryugarda lineage, tracing its origins back to the legendary Empress of Fire, Khyrianna Hiryugarda, embodies the essence of draconic heritage, their veins coursing with the blood of ascended dragons. It is this lineage, deemed by the Drakvaric people as the only worthy bloodline for the throne, that serves as the fulcrum upon which the fate of the empire balances, a beacon of divine favor amidst the tumultuous currents of history.
Yet, within the crucible of tradition, lies a trial of iron and fire for the Crown Princess, the chosen heir to the throne. From her earliest days, she is thrust into the crucible of martial training, where wooden swords give way to sharpened steel blades, and armor becomes a distant luxury. Her every movement is honed to perfection, her every strike tempered by the forge of relentless discipline. For the Crown Princess, there is no mercy, no quarter given, as she navigates the treacherous path to ascension, her strength tested against the crucible of adversity.
But the crucible of tradition extends beyond the confines of royalty, casting its shadow upon all noble bloodlines within the principality. Here, the sons and daughters of esteemed houses are bound by the same rigid code of honor and duty, enforced by those of the most loyal to the Hiryugarda Imperial Family and the Zil’Drogna faith, where their destinies intertwined with the fate of their liege. As they stand alongside the Crown Princess in the Trial of Ascension, their mettle is tested in the crucible of combat, their resolve tempered by the fires of adversity. For in the eyes of the empire, nobility is not merely a birthright but a crucible of sacrifice, where the true measure of worth is forged in the crucible of tradition and tempered by the flames of destiny.
Apart from martial traditions, the nobility of Hiryugarda is steeped in a rich tapestry of cultural refinement and intellectual prowess, shaping the principality into a bastion of enlightenment and sophistication amidst the rugged landscape of Drakvaria.
Within the hallowed halls of Dragon Spire, where the echoes of ancient roars mingle with the whispers of arcane knowledge, the nobility of Hiryugarda engage in a relentless pursuit of intellectual excellence, imposing the Imperial Family’s will especially among their first born daughters. Academies sprawl across the Hiryugarda Imperial territories, paving a foundation for the most esteemed of priests, scholars, philosophers, and sages converge in vibrant debates and scholarly pursuits, their minds alight with the fervor of discovery and enlightenment. Libraries brim with ancient tomes and scrolls, their pages illuminated by the flickering light of knowledge, beckoning seekers of truth to delve into the mysteries of the cosmos. Yet, it is not only the pursuit of knowledge that defines the nobility of Hiryugarda, but also their mastery of diplomacy and statecraft. Within the glittering courts of Dragon Spire, nobles engage in dances of diplomacy and intrigue, their words, often sharper than their swords, their alliances forged in the crucible of political maneuvering.
Indeed, the institution of marriage among the Drakvaric nobility serves as a cornerstone of political strategy and alliance-building within the Empire. As the Crown Princess undergoes her rigorous twenty years long training and preparation to ascend to the throne, she becomes not only a symbol of power and authority but also the Empire’s most valuable asset in the intricate game of noble politics.
The competition for the hand of the Crown Princess is fierce, with lesser nobilities vying for the opportunity to forge a marital alliance with the ruling family of Hiryugarda. This competition serves to strengthen bonds between noble houses, creating a web of loyalty and ambition that extends throughout the Empire. For those who emerge victorious in this contest, the rewards are significant: access to the halls of power, influence over key decision-making processes, and the prestige that comes with being allied to the ruling dynasty.
Yet, the path to winning the heart of the Crown Princess is fraught with challenges and obstacles. The suitor must prove themselves not only as a capable warrior and leader but also as a skilled diplomat and strategist. They must demonstrate their commitment to the principles of the Empire and their willingness to uphold the traditions and values of Drakvaric society. Only those who possess the strength of character and the determination to succeed will have any hope of claiming the ultimate prize. For the Crown Princess herself, the process of selecting a suitable consort is no less daunting. She must weigh the merits of each suitor carefully, considering not only their martial prowess and political acumen but also their compatibility as a partner and their ability to support her in her role as future ruler, wife and mother. The decision she makes will have far-reaching consequences for the future of the Empire, shaping alliances and determining the course of history for generations to come.
In this way, the tradition of marriage among the Drakvaric nobility serves not only as a means of securing political power and influence but also as a reflection of the values and priorities of Drakvaric society. It is a tradition steeped in history and tradition, one that has endured for centuries and will continue to shape the destiny of the Empire for generations to come.
A Matriarchic Society
A Drakonic Genesis
Within Drakvaria, the Zil’Drogna faith lies cemented in the very core of it’s society, as such, the embrace of the Zil’Drogna faith has given rise to a unique and empowering societal structure: a matriarchy where women hold a position of profound influence. Rooted in the belief that the world emerged from the womb of the Ancient Dragon Goddess, the revered Zyl’Adrah, this matriarchal society reflects the nurturing power and strength attributed to the female form.
According to Drakvaric religious lore, Zyl’Adrah is one of the “Draconis Primeval,” the Great Mother of All Drakvarics. Her counterpart, Dra’Varethor, is the Great Father of the Drakvarics. This foundational belief echoes in the hearts of the people, instilling a deep reverence for the feminine principle. The idea that creation began from the nurturing womb of the Dragon Goddess elevates women to a position of central importance. It’s believed that every aspect of life, from workers and warriors to leaders and Empresses, springs forth from the very essence of the maternal essence, of which it is believed to be the very gift the Dragon Goddess bestowed to all Drakvarics.
The physical prowess of female Drakvarics is held in high regard., mirroring the qualities of their foremothers who once soared the skies alongside mighty dragons. Their wingspans, equal to or often exceeding those of their male counterparts, grant them unparalleled aerial prowess. This enhanced agility not only aids in their mastery of the skies but harks back to their primal survival instincts. These attributes have been refined over generations, shaped by the need to protect their young and ensure the survival of their species.
Drakvaric History tells tales of courageous female warriors and visionary warrior-empresses who have led their people through trials and triumphs. The most remarkable of these stories is the Inception of the Empire, a saga etched in the realm’s collective memory. A Warrior Empress who united many warring tribes, shaping the destiny of the realm through her unyielding determination. This legacy resonates in the present, where tradition decrees that the firstborn daughter of the royal lineage becomes an Army officer and is deployed to the bloodiest battles. The foundation for this destiny is laid in the Juvenile Military Academies, where young princesses are subjected to a rigorous curriculum, nurturing them into formidable warriors. The Higher Military Academy further refines their skills, forging leaders worthy of their ancestral legacy.
Matriarchal Responsibilities
Leaders hailing from the Hiryugarda family predominantly Empresses and Princesses were believed to be born from the womb of their revered All-Mother the Great Dragon Goddess Zyl’Adrah, are not mere rulers, but vessels of divine authority. It is believed that their very existence is a testament to the blessings bestowed upon them by the gods. As the Empire’s leaders, they command not only the loyalty of their people but also the unwavering reverence of the entire nation. Each monarch’s reign leaves an indelible mark on Drakvaric culture, cementing their position as both regal majesties and spiritual leaders. The Drakvaric people view the Empresses of the empire as living conduits between the mortal realm and the divine. Their authority extends beyond politics and administration, it encompasses the realm of the sacred. To oppose the will of the Hiryugarda family is to challenge the very order set forth by the gods themselves, an act that’s seen as treachery not just against the earthly empire but against the cosmic forces that govern their world. The consequences of such defiance are believed to ripple not only through society but through the threads of fate itself.
Yet, despite the apparent omnipotence of their rule, the Hiryugarda family bears a profound responsibility. To govern the vast and diverse Empire means not only wielding the hammer of power but also carrying the mantle of duty. Their reign is a continuous journey of balance between the divine will and the needs of their people. Their wisdom, decisions, and actions are not just personal, they are entwined with the destiny of an entire civilization. For future Empresses, young princesses were subjected to ruthless military drills and training etched into their juvenile days, sculpting their bodies from mere flesh and bones into formidable dames and battle-maidens, capable mastering various arts of a battle from the art of smithing Drakvaric steel into weapons, swordsmanship, polearms, archeries, combat tactics, battlefield strategy, herbalogy and various arcane arts shaping mere royals into the very living testament to the supreme might of the empire. The clash of steel against steel and the rhythm of battle chants echo through the training grounds, as these princesses undergoes transformation into the empire’s most formidable bastion for they bear the duty of safeguarding the empire’s honor. Yet, their education isn’t confined to the art of war alone.
The shaping of the mind is equally crucial, for an Empress must command not just armies but also the intricate facets of governance. Thus, the princesses undergo a rigorous intellectual regimen under the wisdom of scholars and governors, delving into the realms of diplomacy, economics, and governance. Their minds are honed to be as sharp as their swords, their intellect as unassailable as their fortresses. Holistic approaches are implemented since first-born princesses were very young through ways of meditation and the implementation of Zil’Drogna faith in their everyday lives guided by a High Priestess. This holistic approach to their training prepares them not only for preparing future empress to wield the colossal power of the empire, but for understanding its many dimensions in order to keep up with the herculean resilience required for the position. As they ascend to the throne, they are equipped to guide Drakvaria through challenges that span from the battlefields and the banquet halls, the market squares, the mines and ports to the palaces and temples.
In the end, the Hiryugarda family’s rule isn’t defined solely by the splendor of their divine heritage; it’s illuminated by the tempered wisdom gained through a lifelong journey of preparation. They are the anchors between the divine and the earthly, the living bridge between the realms of gods and men. And as they stand at the helm of the Empire of Drakvaria, they carry not just a crown, but a legacy that intertwines the sacred and the practical, the past and the future, in an eternal dance of leadership and responsibility.
A Princess’s Conviction: Mistress of the Empire
The Zil’Drogna faith dictated that a female Drakvaric wields not only the physical gifts the their ancient gods bestowed, but also a power and a symbolic responsibility of a life bearer, not particularly a life giver but they hold the reverence as the conduit of life between the celestial realm into the mortal realms. Hence, in the royal family, a first born princess is destined to hold the ruling hammer as well as the mantle of unity for the empire, this young women, fated to anchor the fate of the empire in the endless stream of time and act as the bastion and the very definition of the Drakvaric Strength.
A duty which batters even the toughest of men both on the body and the mind, the task of ruling the Empire of Drakvaria is by no means easy. The mental and physical conditioning these juvenile royals had to go through were often involve lethal aspects. Their mastery of combat, guided by the Empire’s finest veterans subjects the royals into a vicious and cruel conditioning. Their bodies were forged in the courtyards, forming their muscles and strengthening their heart for an arduous miles long march often with a regiment of soldiers, often, far longer then her peers. Past that, these princesses were assigned to a training regiments, mastering archeries first in order to train their disciplines and familiarizing themselves with stances and positions, involving stern physical corrections. Next, the art of a swordsman, a basic lesson

In the heart of the Crown Princesses’ training lies a relentless symphony of brutality, an orchestrated torment akin to a masterful performance. The Taskmasters, bound by ancient traditions, wear the dual hats of instructors and tormentors. Amidst the watchful eyes of Varthorian recruits and seasoned trainers, the Crown Princesses are thrust into trials that mercilessly push the boundaries of physical and emotional endurance. Within the intense training grounds of the Varthorins, the Officers of the Drakvaric Army, a silent tradition unfurls — an unspoken testament that sets the Crown Princesses apart as both leaders and humble learners. Here, they must bear the cruel weight of humiliations, shaming, and scrutinies, all in front of her peers, an ultimate test of their mettle.
This is no ordinary duty, for it relentlessly pounds even the toughest of souls, exacting its toll on both body and mind. Ruling the Empire of Drakvaria is far from an easy feat. The mental and physical conditioning imposed on these young royals often ventures into lethal territories. Guided by the Empire’s most seasoned veterans, the Taskmasters, the Crown Princesses endure a relentless and vicious conditioning. Their bodies are shaped within the unforgiving courtyards, muscles forged and hearts steeled through gruelling, miles-long marches, forced to surpass even their peers’ limits. As part of their rigorous training regimen, the princesses master archery, immersing themselves in the nuances of stances and positions, all while enduring the stern physical corrections.
The brutality inflicted by the Taskmasters is raw and unrelenting. It’s a true show of their religious devotion and tradition as they strive to guide the Crown Princesses to outperform themselves in every session. However, their guidance takes on a cruel and unapologetic form. They not only expose every vulnerability but also ruthlessly highlight each mistake, dissecting every weakness. The Taskmasters intentions are clear — to strip away any semblance of privilege or self-doubt and thrust the young royals into the uncompromising brutality of combat.
In the midst of this cruel torment, the Crown Princesses are pushed to confront their vulnerability, to fully embrace it. Through this vulnerability, they unearth their true strength, learning to stand unwavering in the face of humiliation, bearing the weight of their imperfections. They emerge from this crucible with spirits unbreakable, determined to prove their worthiness of their birthright. Several challenges were designed to torment the Crown Princess:
Trials of the Blade: The Trials of the Blade represent the initiation of the Crown Princess’s training, and it begins with an unyielding duel. She is to be pitted against seasoned warriors, many of whom are champions of Drakvaria’s elite army, the Varthorian guard. This brutal initiation takes place in a grim and ancient arena, where the legacy of countless warriors who have faced this trial hangs heavy in the air. The arena is a vast, circular pit with towering walls lined with jagged obsidian spikes. The ground is scattered with the shattered weapons and armour of those who have previously fought here. The audience, composed mainly of her peers, including the Varthorian elite guards, watch with a mixture of anticipation and trepidation. The crowd’s expectations are weighty, and the atmosphere is charged with tension.
Wings of Honour According to the Zil’Drogna faith, the Drakvaric race were chosen by the the Dragon Gods to bear the gift of flight. This belief finds its roots in ancient mythology, where the first Drakvarics were blessed with wings by the Divine Dragon herself, Zyl’Adrah. These wings, an embodiment of divine grace, bestowed the Drakvarics with the ability to soar the skies alongside their dragon companions. To possess wings is to be chosen, to be part of a legacy, destined to transcend mortal existence. The wings, viewed as sacred artifacts, hold great significance in Drakvaric society. They are a source of immense pride, representing a direct connection to the gods and the ancient dragons that shaped the world. Drakvarics, from common citizens to royalty, revere their wings as a testament to their lineage and a reminder of the eternal bond they share with their dragon lords.
Within the royal families, the symbolism of wings extends to the very heart of power. The wings of the monarchs, whether they be Empresses or Emperors, are not only a mark of their divine right to rule but a symbol of their covenant with the gods to protect their people. It’s said that the strength of a ruler’s wings reflects the strength of their connection to the divine, making the condition of their wings a matter of state and spirituality intertwined. In the grand ceremonies and festivals that mark Drakvaric life, the wings take center stage. Elaborately adorned and celebrated, they are a visual testament to the unity of the people and their shared history. From the fluttering of the youngest hatchlings’ wings in their first flights to the stately procession of the Imperial Family, the wings symbolize the collective journey of a people chosen to ascend the skies.
Losing one’s wings is considered a tragedy of profound proportions. Within the royal families, where bloodlines are closely intertwined with the Zil’Drogna faith, losing a wing is not just a physical loss but a spiritual one. It’s seen as a rupture in the sacred covenant between the Drakvarics and their gods. Such a loss is met with severe repercussions as it is often seen as a taboo fate as one would be deemed to not protect their wings good enough, this results most frequently in social exclusion or even discrimination.
However, the loss of wings takes on an even more complex dimension in times of conflict. To lose one’s wings to the enemy in battle is viewed as a heresy of the highest order. It’s not merely a physical defeat, but a symbol of the severance of one’s spiritual connection to the gods and the abandonment of their divine purpose. The idea of fallen wings falling into the hands of adversaries is a notion that strikes immeasurable fear and sorrow into the hearts of all Drakvarics. With their pride spreading across the continent and the Drakvarics are well known to indulge in their privilege of flight, often times, enemy contingents would captured Drakvaric soldiers only for them to be taken in public where they would have their wings severed in public by ways of decapitation, intended as a psychological weapon which bore immense results as these inflicted massive psychological deterrence on the Drakvaric sides.
Thus the wings of a Drakvaric are not just physical appendages; they are the embodiment of a sacred legacy that unites the Drakvarics with their gods and dragons. Through triumphs and tragedies, battles and celebrations, the wings remain a constant reminder of their divine purpose and the profound connection that transcends generations. As the Drakvarics take to the skies, their wings carry them not only through the clouds but through the tapestry of their culture, faith, and destiny.
Rites of the Empress of Fire
The Rites of the Empress of Fire represent a sacred and solemn ceremony that marks the culmination of the union between the Crown Princess of Hiryugarda and her chosen consort. As the final step in the wedding proceedings, this ritual holds immense significance not only for the newlyweds but also for the future of the Empire itself.
The ceremony takes place in the presence of the ruling Empress, the mother of the Crown Princess, along with the assembled nobility and dignitaries of the realm. The atmosphere is charged with anticipation and reverence as the couple stands before the throne, their hearts united in love and their destinies entwined in a bond that will shape the course of Drakvaric history.
At the heart of the Rites of the Empress of Fire lies the symbolic act of renunciation and acceptance. In this pivotal moment, As the groom stands beside his bride, he undergoes a profound journey of renunciation and acceptance, symbolizing his transition from an individual of noble birth to an integral member of the Hiryugarda family. The symbolic act of renunciation of his own noble name and taking on the surname of his bride, adopting her noble house as his own as he pledges his loyalty and devotion not only to his beloved but also to the lineage and legacy of the Hiryugarda family represents a significant sacrifice on the part of the groom, whereby relinquishing his noble house title and the privileges associated with it, he willingly sets aside his own identity and ambitions in service of a higher cause. This gesture reflects his deep devotion to his beloved and symbolizes his willingness to merge his identity with hers, to become a part of her family and to share in its duties and responsibilities.
As the Crown Princess accepts the groom as her own mate, partner, and husband, she acknowledges not only the bond forged between them with the exchange of vows, the Crown Princess affirms her commitment to her chosen consort, recognizing him as her equal in love, loyalty, and partnership.

Following the marriage ceremony, the Hiryugarda princess asserts her dominion over the empire by publicly declaring herself as the Rightful Empress and sovereign ruler, witnessed by her mother and the groom stands by her side, acknowledging her as his rightful sovereign and pledging his unwavering loyalty and support. before the Empress of Drakvaria rise and step down, relinquishing her throne, her scepter, her crown and her power over to her daughter, formally cementing the Crown Princess as she ascends to the throne as the divine and rightful heir to the lineage of the Empress of Fire.
To conclude the ritual, the newly crowned Empress and Emperor receive the blessings of the Zil’Drogna, as they kneel towards the throne where the statue of the All Mother, Zyl’Adrah stands tall as if the All Mother herself watches over the Empire and thus, the Imperial Family
Art and culture flourish within the principality, each stroke of the brush and each note of music a testament to the indomitable spirit of the Drakvaric people. Great halls resound with the melodies of ancient ballads and the thunderous applause of enraptured audiences, their hearts stirred by tales of heroism and valor. Artists and artisans ply their trade with skill and dedication, their creations adorning the halls of Dragon Spire with beauty and splendor.
Yet, amidst the opulence and refinement, the nobility of Hiryugarda remains ever vigilant, their eyes fixed on the horizon, their hands ever ready to defend the honor and integrity of the principality. For in the crucible of tradition and enlightenment, they are the guardians of the flame, the custodians of a legacy that stretches back to the dawn of the Empire of Dragons. And as they stand poised on the precipice of destiny, they do so not as mere mortals, but as heirs to the legacy of dragons, their spirits aflame with the undying fire of Hiryugarda.

Trades and Diplomacy
The threads of trade and diplomacy that the Drakvarics hosts, weaves a delicate yet impactful pattern that shapes the empire’s interactions with the wider world. Rooted in self-sufficiency, Drakvaria maintains a self-contained ecosystem that sustains its populace, but even amidst this independence, the allure of connections beyond its borders has not been entirely resisted.
Central to this connection is the trade relationship established with the Vargens to the North-West. The Vargenian Timber, renowned for its exceptional strength and durability, becomes an invaluable resource for the construction of Drakvaric homes and grand structures alike. This timber, hewn from the ancient forests of Vargengarde, bears the echoes of the very land it originates from, a testament to the bond between the two nations. Beyond raw materials, another facet of this partnership manifests in the form of Vargenian Brandy, a beloved beverage that courses through the veins of the empire’s elites. The delicate art of brewing and fermentation practiced in Vargengarde transforms the region’s bounty into an elixir that warms the hearts of Drakvaric aristocracy.
As trade routes intertwine, the exchange extends to the realm of nature itself. Herbal goods flow from Magna Vargheimar to Drakvaria, each botanical treasure holding within it a multitude of purposes. From medicinal needs that tend to ailments both mundane and obscure, to potent aphrodisiacs that stir passions and desires, the trade of these herbs enhances the Drakvaric experience. It is in these exchanges that the borders blur and the connections between nations become palpable, as the needs and curiosities of one become intertwined with the offerings of another.
Yet, it is not solely through trade that Drakvaria reaches beyond its isolated shores. Beneath the facade of its self-imposed seclusion, the empire recognizes the imperative of diplomacy in the larger context of the world stage. An understanding takes root that while the dragons of Drakvaria might soar alone, they still cast shadows that influence distant realms. This juxtaposition of Drakvaria’s isolationist nature and its diplomatic endeavors is exemplified by its relationship with its northern neighbor, Magna Vargheimar. The establishment of embassies in each other’s capitals serves as a tangible sign of this engagement. Within the heart of the Drakvaric capital, Dragon Spire, the Hiryugarda family, led by Shina Hiryugarda, stands as the embodiment of this diplomacy. On the Vargenian side, Diana Vargengarde of House Vargengarde takes up the mantle of representing her people’s interests.
Intricate negotiations and exchanges of words occur within the halls of these embassies, where the voices of rulers and representatives echoes, striving to quell tensions and repair frayed relationships. The scars of the Ten Years War, etched deep into the history of both nations, serve as a reminder of the cost of conflict and the importance of reconciliation. Mutual respect and shared interests breathe life into these diplomatic endeavors, as envoys skillfully navigate the intricate web of alliances and rivalries that define the geopolitical landscape. Beyond the realm of words, occasional joint military exercises punctuate the borders, albeit rarely, still, it represents a symbolic gestures of Drakvaria’s willingness for unity and cooperation, these exercises serve as both practical training and an offering of goodwill. Yet, beneath the surface, the tension between the two nations’ conflicting beliefs simmers, a reminder that even as alliances are formed, the echoes of differing ideologies persists.
Perhaps the most intriguing chapter in this evolving relationship is the cultural exchange treaty born from the Great Reconciliation. An unexpected yet welcomed development. This initiative brought scholars, artists, and thinkers from both nations into each other’s fold. A sharing of knowledge, customs, and artistic expressions occurs, gradually eroding the walls of isolationism that had defined Drakvaric identity for so long. As the tendrils of Vargen influence intertwine with traditional Drakvaric features in architecture and art, a unique fusion emerges. The solemn stone spires of Dragon Spire may now bear hints of Vargen intricacy, a testament to the cultural bridges that are being built, but so does the Vargen who took interest in Drakvaric architecture and developing a hybrid of the two, going as far as accepting the Drakvarics as members of the Magna Vargheimar’s Stalhorst Guild. The empire’s isolationist stance remains a powerful undercurrent, yet it is tempered by the undeniable allure of exchange and understanding that has begun to blossom.
Thus, within the symphony of trade and diplomacy, Drakvaria’s melody plays on, a song of self-reliance harmonising with the intrigue of connection to a world that beckons beyond its borders

Indigenous Drakvaric Beliefs
Zil’Drogna Faith
The Drakvarics, proud and formidable, are a people bound by the sacred embrace of the Zil’Drogna faith. The pantheon of the Zil’Drogna stands in stark contrast to the beliefs of neighboring Patrianic nations. Known as the “Thrones of the Ancient Ones,” the Zil’Drogna evoke a deep connection to the ancient dragon spirits that once soared across the savage landscapes of Drakvaria. These revered beings are believed to have transcended mortal bounds, ascending to a realm beyond the Overworld, where immortality and power intertwine. The dragon spirits are regarded as vessels of both wisdom and might, their very essence, an embodiment of the primal forces that shape existence. The Drakvarics hold an unwavering reverence for these beings, believing that by paying homage to them, they tap into a wellspring of power and insight. This devotion to the Zil’Drogna becomes the very essence of their lives, infusing their actions with purpose and meaning. The worship of the Zil’Drogna is all-encompassing, a passionate dedication that transcends individual pursuits. Within this faith, absolute obedience to the gods is the cornerstone, manifesting in the strict adherence to the rules set down by the divine. The teachings of the Zil’Drogna guide their way of life, aligning their actions with the sacred principles of their beliefs.
Amidst this devotion, the figure of the Emperors and Empresses of Drakvaria holds a position of utmost respect. Revered as the “Ascended,” the Emperor is believed to be the chosen representative of the Ancient Dragons themselves, entrusted with leading the entire Drakvarian race. This role, imbued with divine significance, becomes a guiding force, reinforcing the interconnectedness between mortal and celestial. The realm of the Zil’Drogna is shrouded in mystery, accessible only to the eyes of the faithful Drakvarics. It is an exclusive path of spirituality, steeped in the lore of the ancient dragons, woven with secrets known only to the initiated. Yet, the influence of these gods extends beyond their ethereal realm. The Drakvarics believe that the gods possess the ability to shape the very world around them, a power they seek to honour and appease through rituals and offerings.
In the annals of Zil’Drogna lore, a tale of creation unfolds, unveiling a world before the lands of Patria existed. This primordial world, Tyr’ta, the “Water World,” is a testament to the gods’ immense power. The Great Primordial, Dra’Varethor, a singular dragonic deity, descended from the heavens, engulfing the skies in flames. These flames, searing the waters, gave rise to lands where the god could perch and call his own. The cooling of the air birthed a stable atmosphere, birthing life itself. Flora burgeoned across the lowlands, colossal trees reaching towards the skies, and creatures emerged, taking their place in the intricate dance of existence. The evolution of this world, both terrestrial and aquatic, bore witness to the cycle of life that continued until a Primordial Dragoness, Zyl’Adrah, was drawn to this burgeoning realm. The harmony and balance that unfolded set the stage for a world teeming with life, where the spirits of dragons danced with the essence of creation itself.
This rich tapestry of faith, woven with the threads of reverence for the Zil’Drogna, intertwines with the societal structure of Drakvaria. The nurturing power of Zyl’Adrah reverberates through every aspect of life, as women and men find their roles seamlessly aligned with the teachings of their gods. Paving a way for a matriarchal structure to flourish, balancing women’s prominence in religious and martial spheres with the governance guided by men’s insights. This intricate blend of devotion, tradition, and societal organisation stands as a testament to the Drakvaric identity, one intricately woven with the threads of faith and history, mirroring the dragons that once soared across their lands.
The Book of Ascension

Its pages are a testament to the enduring connection between the faith of Zil’Drogna and the way of life within the Empire. As the Empire was founded and the Zil’Drogna belief system gained widespread popularity, it became clear that preserving the teachings and traditions of the Dragons was of paramount importance.
The Empire recognized that as the generations passed, the risk of losing the rich heritage and spiritual insights of the Dragons grew ever more tangible. Thus, the decision to compile these ancient scriptures into a series of books was an act of safeguarding their cultural and religious identity. These scriptures ensure that the Drakvarics remain guardians of their traditions, preserving the teachings and values that the Dragons once bestowed upon them. The Empire took a momentous step by committing these sacred insights to writing, culminating in the creation of the Book of Ascension. It starts from the very beginning of their lives and continues throughout their existence. The book details the rites of passage, the sacred ceremonies, and the obligations they must fulfill to forge a deep connection with the divine. The once barren land now teemed with vibrant flora, the valleys adorned with cascading waterfalls, and the mountains crowned with ancient forests. Life had come to Tyr’Ta, a testament to the union of the divine, a world reborn in the embrace of the Great Parents.”
In the sacred annals of the Zil’Drogna faith lies the profound creation myth of the world, a tale that stirs the spirits of the Drakvaric people. Before Tyr’Ta’s landscapes were clothed in their vibrant tapestry of life, it existed as a boundless expanse of water, stretching to the horizon’s edge, a world shrouded in the silence of primordial depths. It was a world untouched by mortal footsteps, a canvas awaiting the touch of divine creation. It was a world of endless possibilities, where the threads of existence were still woven on the loom of cosmic forces. This world, immersed in an eternal embrace with the element of water, was the perfect canvas upon which the ancient powers of the universe would inscribe their first strokes of creation.
At the beginning of time, when the cosmic gears began to turn in their celestial choreography, a great moment of creation unfolded. The mighty Primal Dragons, Dra’Varethor, the Great Father of the Drakvarics, descended from the heavens with the grace of a cosmic dancer. His wings, vast and resplendent, eclipsed the sun, and his very presence sent ripples through the fabric of reality. With a thunderous roar that shook through the heavens itself and across the seas, Dra’Varethor tore a rift, shattering the boundaries of the very fabric of the cosmos. Through this rift, the Great Father descended upon the watery expanse of Tyr’Ta.
His colossal form, a behemoth of scales and sinew, rivaled the very mountains in its grandeur. His body is a titanic monument to divine strength, appeared as if sculpted from the very bedrock of the world itself. Each muscle and sinew, chiseled with an otherworldly precision, bore witness to eons of existence.
With a wingspan that stretched across multiple expanses of verdant forests, Dra’Varethor’s wings were a masterpiece of the supreme nature and the highest divinity intertwined. Each wingbeat was a thunderous proclamation of his presence, displacing air with such force that it shaped the very winds. These colossal appendages, adorned with iridescent scales that captured the hues of the cosmos, unfurled like celestial banners, eclipsing the sun as they extended towards the horizon. The majesty of his form was a living testament to the boundless potential of the divine. His scales, an iridescent tapestry that shimmered with the secrets of the universe, seemed to draw light from the very heavens themselves. It was as if the stars had descended to adorn his body, and their light played upon his form in a celestial dance.
As Dra’Varethor descended upon the world, his colossal presence sent tremors through the fabric of existence. The very land beneath him quivered in reverence, acknowledging the ancient power that had graced Tyr’Ta with its presence. It was a moment when the terrestrial and the celestial met, when the mortal and the divine intertwined, and the world itself bore witness to the birth of a new era.
The heavens themselves, recognizing the sanctity of this divine moment, bestowed upon Dra’Varethor a mantle of flame. This was no ordinary fire but a divine essence, a celestial blaze that possessed the power to shape worlds and ignite life. With the grace of an ancient god, Dra’Varethor opened his maw wide and spewed forth this divine flame, a cascade of incandescent brilliance.
As the flames washed over the boundless waters of Tyr’Ta, an extraordinary transformation began. The divine fire evaporated the water, sending it skyward in billowing clouds of steam. With each passing moment, the once-submerged world began to reveal its secrets. The waters receded, unveiling vast expanses of land where life would soon take root. The Great Father’s mighty claws, each as colossal as a range of mountains, descended upon the waiting canvas of Tyr’Ta. With the precision of a master sculptor, he carved through the ancient terrains, unearthing the very bedrock that had slept beneath the waves for countless aeons.
As his titanic claws moved, they left a trail of awe-inspiring transformations in their wake. Valleys, their depths unfathomable and their beauty unrivalled, emerged in the wake of his passage. Each crevice and hollow was a testament to his creative genius, a symphony of shadows and light playing upon the contours of the land. These valleys, the offspring of divine craftsmanship, wound through the landscape like veins of lifeblood, nurturing the world with their ever-flowing waters.
And then there were the mountains, grand and majestic, each one a towering monument to the Great Father’s artistry. Their peaks brushed the very heavens, their slopes a challenge to any who dared to ascend. The mountains stood as enduring guardians of the land, their roots delving deep into the heart of the earth, their summits gracing the sky.
The land the Great Father had sculpted conveys his ingenuity and an unchallenged mastery. However, As the Great Father gazed upon the land he had sculpted, he marvelled at its sheer grandeur and the raw potential it held. The valleys and mountains that now adorned the landscape were a testament to his divine artistry, yet they remained barren and lifeless. The world, though shaped with breathtaking beauty, lacked the vital essence of existence. The Great Father knew that the land, with its rocks, dust, and soil, was but a canvas awaiting the touch of life.
With great reverence, the Great Father turned his gaze to the celestial heavens. Above, the rift he had torn in the fabric of the cosmos remained open, a gateway to the realm of the ancient dragons and the divine energies of the universe. He called upon the All Mother, Zyl’Adrah, whose presence he invoked through this celestial rift, which glowed like a radiant portal in the skies of Tyr’Ta.
As the All Mother, Zyl’Adrah, heard the resounding call of the Great Father, her heart swelled with purpose. Her celestial throne, a grand throne of gold, marble and ivory edifice adorned with celestial jewels, was a symbol of wisdom and nurturing grace. From this sacred seat, she had watched over the celestial realm of dragonkind for aeons. But the call to descend from her lofty perch was undeniable, for it was her role as the rightful ruler of all dragonkind to bless the world with the gift of life. To birth the world, a mortal lineage of the celestials.
With a powerful leap, her wings unfurled like vast canopies of cosmic silk. The celestial rift in the heavens beckoned to her, a luminous gateway connecting the celestial realm to the waiting world below. She soared through this rift, traversing the cosmic expanse that separated the realms. The celestial dust she carried with her glittered like stardust, a shimmering legacy of the heavens.
As she descended, the land of Tyr’Ta came into view. The world, once submerged in boundless waters, had been transformed by the Great Father’s artistry. Vast valleys stretched their arms out like cradles, and towering mountains stood as eternal sentinels. The All Mother’s form moved with a grace that mirrored the dance of cosmic forces. Her presence illuminated the land, casting an ethereal glow upon the contours of the world.
Upon her arrival, the very earth quivered in acknowledgment of her divine presence. The land itself seemed to hold its breath, for it acknowledged the All Mother as the harbinger of life. She inspected the magnificent tapestry of creation the Great Father had woven, and her eyes, like pools of celestial wisdom, gazed upon every detail. The valleys and mountains, the crevices and peaks, were a testament to the Great Father’s artistry, a masterpiece of divine craftsmanship.
With a final descent, the All Mother landed with the grace of a falling star. The ground beneath her feet yield to her divine essence, forming a sacred bond with the land. Her presence, a symphony of life and blessings, shook the very core of Tyr’Ta, as if the world itself rejoiced in her arrival.
To the Great Father’s astonishment, he beheld the All Mother, her regal form carrying the divine gift of life itself within her. Her belly had swollen with the promise of new beginnings, a sacred covenant forged between the Father and the Mother, as life itself had graced the celestial union with the blessing of offspring. This unexpected gift filled the heavens with a profound sense of wonder and anticipation, for the creation of new life was a testament to the boundless potential of their union.
Her celestial form had been enriched with the gift of life as the essence of life itself brews in her womb. Each exhales of her breath was a blessing, and each inhalation, a covenant with existence itself. Where her breath touched, the once lifeless and dry soil sprang to life, spreading it throughout the lands. Every step she took seems to bloom in lush, green grasses, great forests arose where their canopies reaches towards the heavens. Flowers of vibrant colors, previously unseen, unfurled their petals in a riot of of vibrance. The land teemed with vitality as the breath of the All Mother nurtured the ecosystems.
Her wings, resplendent and vast, cast soothing shadows across the newborn landscapes. Her presence was a beacon of hope, and every corner of Tyr’Ta was touched by her divine grace. With each step she took, the earth responded with the gift of life. Streams gushed forth, forming rivers that meandered through valleys and plains, providing nourishment to the earth’s inhabitants. The oceans, once expansive and barren, now teemed with the secrets of the depths, as aquatic life flourished in their aqueous realms.
The All Mother’s ethereal eyes, radiant like the stars themselves, gazed upon her creation with a tender affection. Her gaze touched upon each corners of the world, blessing it with the potential to thrive and flourish. The skies, once void of life, now hosted the melodious songs of birds and the graceful flight of dragons, who soared as living symbols of the world’s creation.
As time passed, the moment had arrived for the All Mother to deliver her offspring; the destined moment drew near for the All Mother to give birth to her divine progeny. The Great Father, unwavering in his devotion, stood steadfast by her side, an ever-present sentinel throughout her journey. With each step that the All Mother took, the heavens themselves seemed to hold their breath in anticipation.
The sacred hour approached, and the All Mother, her radiant presence illuminating the path before her, guided her steps toward the hallowed Great Rose Mountain. This majestic peak, its towering summit kissed by the very stars, stood as an altar to creation itself. As she ascended the mountain, her steps were a harmonious dance with the universe, each movement a testament to the divine rhythm of life. The Great Father, his colossal form a symbol of unwavering support, never strayed from her side. He was a steadfast presence, his wings outstretched in a protective embrace, his very being a symbol of strength and love. Together, they ascended the mountain, their union a reflection of the cosmic order.
Upon reaching the summit, the All Mother, her wings resplendent with the radiance of the heavens, settled gracefully upon the mountaintop. It was a moment when the earth itself seemed to hush in reverence, as if the very land recognized the sanctity of the impending event.
The Great Rose Mountain, with its name etched in the annals of creation, bore witness to this divine spectacle. Its slopes, adorned with celestial flora and resplendent gems of the earth, were transformed into a sacred birthing ground. The mountain, with its towering spires and ethereal beauty, stood as a testament to the eternal bond between the Great Father and the All Mother.
With the All Mother’s arrival at the summit, the world itself seemed to hold its breath, and the heavens above shone with a brilliance that outshone the stars. It was a moment when the very fabric of existence converged, a moment that would echo through the annals of time as the birth of the Dragon Kings and Queens.
the stars themselves bent closer to witness this awe-inspiring event, and the constellations shifted in acknowledgment. The world’s elements, from earth to water, fire to air, converged at the mountain’s summit, a testament to the unity of all things. Amidst this symphony of creation, the All Mother began to labor, her power and grace intertwined in an enchanting dance. It was a moment when the very cosmos seemed to breathe in rhythm with her, and the mountain itself trembled with the resonance of divine energy.
With a final, resplendent gesture that echoed through the heavens, the All Mother brought forth her offspring, a son and a daughter. These divine creations, whose form was as majestic as their parent dragons, emerged into the world as embodiments of celestial grace. Their very presence seemed to resonate with the energies of the cosmos, and their scales shimmered with iridescent colors that mirrored the stars themselves.
The son, with wings that bore the hues of twilight and dawn, was a testament to the boundless potential of creation. His form was a fusion of strength and elegance, and his presence commanded attention, much like the Great Father himself. The daughter, with scales that reflected the deep blues of celestial oceans and the fiery reds of cosmic nebulae, embodied the balance of the elements where her form was large, embodying the divine strength of her mother. Her beauty was awe-inspiring, her eyes filled with the wisdom of the ages, much like the All Mother.
These two divine siblings, born of the unbreakable bond between their celestial parents, were a living testament to the power of love and creation. As they took their first breaths, the world around them seemed to hold its breath in reverence, acknowledging the birth of beings who would shape the destiny of Tyr’Ta.
As eons passed, the Great Father and the All Mother continued to nurture their divine offspring, guiding them with boundless love and wisdom. The celestial rift, a sacred passage between the heavens and the mortal realm, served as a testament to the creation of life and the unbreakable bond between the divine pair.
The rift became a focal point, a place of immense significance, not only for the Great Father and the All Mother but for all the Gods and Goddesses who inhabited the celestial realms. As they descended from the heavens, each divine entity brought with them their own children, a gathering of the divine that spoke of unity and reverence. With humility and devotion, the other Gods and Goddesses would visit the All Mother, bowing in her divine grace and elegance. Their children, born of celestial essence and imbued with the blessings of the heavens, would gather around the All Mother, their presence a symphony of celestial beauty.
In the presence of the All Mother, the divine offspring of the Gods and Goddesses would receive her blessings, their existence forever intertwined with the legacy of the Great Father and the All Mother. This sacred gathering served as a reminder of the interconnectedness of the divine realms and the significance of Tyr’Ta as a world shaped by celestial hands.
As the divine children of the All Mother matured, a new chapter in their existence unfolded. Filled with the wisdom and grace imparted by their celestial parentage, they felt the call of life’s most profound instinct — the desire to procreate. It was a moment of immense significance, for they were not merely progeny of the All Mother but the bearers of divine legacy, tasked with the continuation of their celestial lineage.
With a sense of purpose that resonated in their every movement, the matured children of the All Mother sought to embrace their destiny. They yearned to give rise to a new generation, one that would inherit the splendor of their divine lineage and the grace of their celestial ancestry. In their quest to fulfill this sacred duty, the divine children found themselves drawn to their fellow dragon kin, who were themselves descendants of divine entities. The meeting of these many divine lineages was a momentous occasion, a coming together of celestial bloodlines that echoed with the harmonious intentions of the heavens.
The union between the divine offspring of the All Mother and their dragon kin was a union of celestial and terrestrial forces, an act that bridged the gap between the divine and the mortal. In their embrace, the divine children and their dragon kin kindled the fires of life, setting in motion the creation of a new generation that bore the promise of greatness. Their love was a reflection of the profound bond between the heavens and the mortal realm, a testament to the intricate tapestry of existence itself. It was a moment when the divine and the earthly intertwined, and the offspring of their union would carry the essence of both worlds in their very beings.
With the passage of time, as new generations sprang forth, the Great Father and the All Mother came to a momentous decision. They sensed that the time had come for them to return to their celestial realm, where the echoes of creation and the divine dance of the cosmos awaited their presence. It was a decision marked by a profound sense of purpose, an acknowledgment that their goals in the mortal world had been fulfilled. And thus, with a final, resplendent gesture, the divine Parents prepared to leave their matured children and their offspring, as well as a world ready for the next phase of its existence. Their departure was not a farewell but a promise, a reassurance that their divine essence would forever be intertwined with the realm they had shaped.
As the Great Parents prepared to ascend to their celestial abode, they left behind a legacy that would endure through the ages. Their matured children, now custodians of the world and bearers of the divine bloodline, would carry forward the celestial grace and wisdom imparted by their celestial parents. In this transition, the Children would become the guardians of the world, ensuring that the balance and harmony initiated by the Great Father and the All Mother would persist.
The world they had crafted, with its majestic landscapes and vibrant ecosystems, was a testament to their artistry and divine vision. It was a gift to their offspring and a canvas upon which future generations would leave their own mark. The Parents departed with the knowledge that the world they had nurtured would continue to evolve, guided by the hands of their mortal descendants. As they ascended to their celestial realm, the Great Parents left behind a promise — a promise that upon their children’s passing, they would be welcomed in the realm of the heavens. There, in the embrace of the celestial cosmos, the Great Parents would greet their children once more, welcoming them as divine entities in their own right.

Verse 2:1 “And lo, the children of the All Mother did usher in a new age, a wondrous era, where bonds of kinship stretched far and wide. Brothers and sisters, united in spirit, their unity knew no bounds.”
Verse 2:2 “In this age of unity, the Dragonics joined hands to shape a realm filled with marvels, their toil guided by the ancient dragons’ wisdom. With hands as ardent as the dragonfire itself, they crafted cities and monuments that stood as tributes to their exquisite craftsmanship.”
Verse 2:3 “Songs, like celestial threads of melody, graced the air, carrying with them the beauty of life and the profound grace of their All Mother. These anthems, born of heartfelt devotion, echoed through the hearts of Dragons, exalting their unity and the divine legacy they held dear.”
Verse 2:4 “Yet, this bond, unbreakable and divine, demanded a framework to sustain its unity and ensure the realm’s eternal prosperity. The Dragonic society, flourishing under ancient guidance, embraced a sacred code of norms and values, firmly rooted in the wisdom of the Dragons.”
Verse 2:5 “A code intricately woven with the threads of tradition, this framework illuminated the path of the Dragonic people, guiding them toward harmonious existence. It exalted honor, strength, spirituality, and unity, engraving these ideals upon every Dragonic heart.”
Verse 2:6 “These norms, far from arbitrary, were a reflection of the timeless teachings of their All Mother, a sacred code that governed their lives and inspired them to reach for greatness.”
Verse 2:7 “Within this framework, a sense of duty blossomed, as every Dragonic understood their role in preserving the empire’s grandeur. It became a wellspring of inspiration, a reminder of the collective purpose that bound them as one.”
Verse 2:8 “These societal norms were more than mere rules; they were beacons of collective aspiration, illuminating the path to a prosperous future.”
Verse 2:9 “And as the Dragonic people embraced these values, they beheld the unfolding of an extraordinary society, a living testament to their devotion to the Dragons and their All Mother. A society destined to shape their fate and resonate through the annals of time.”
The children of the All Mother had finally ushered in a new age, a time when the bonds between brothers and sisters extended across the expanse of the nation. It was an era of unity, a time when the Dragonics joined hands to create a realm filled with wonders, shaped by the ardent hands of the ancient dragons. Within this remarkable land, beauty was not confined to the natural world but was also manifested in the very architecture of their cities, with buildings that stood as testament to the exquisite craftsmanship of their people.
Songs, like delicate threads of melody, wove through the air, conveying not only the beauty of life itself but also the profound grace of their All Mother. These songs, composed with heartfelt devotion, resonated through the hearts of the Dragons, celebrating their unity and the divine legacy they upheld. Each note was a testament to the unity of their society and the boundless love they held for the All Mother who had nurtured them through the eons.
The unbreakable bond that transcends mere brotherhood necessitates a well-defined framework to ensure its enduring unity and, by extension, the prosperity of the realm. Drakvarian society, as it flourished, began to embrace a set of norms and values deeply rooted in the ancient wisdom of the Dragons, principles they held dear as a testament to their reverence for the divine.
This framework, intricately woven with the threads of tradition, acted as the guiding light for the Dragonic people, steering them toward a harmonious existence. It upheld the ideals of honor, strength, spirituality, and unity, instilling in every Dragonic heart the importance of these principles. The norms established within the society weren’t arbitrary but rather a reflection of the age-old teachings of their All Mother, a sacred code that governed their lives and inspired them to achieve greatness.
Within this framework, a sense of duty blossomed, as every Dragonic understood their role in maintaining the empire’s grandeur. It became a source of inspiration, a reminder of the collective purpose that bound them together. The society’s norms were not merely rules to be followed but a beacon of collective aspiration, a path toward a prosperous future.
As the Dragonic people embraced these values, they witnessed the unfurling of an extraordinary society, one that stood as a living testament to their devotion to the Dragons and their All Mother, a society that would shape their destiny and echo through the ages.
The Covenant of Love

Verse 2:10
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
Book of Ascension, The Covenant of Love,

Book of Ascension, The Covenant of Love,
Verse 2:13

Verse 2:14

Verse 2:15
“As the union reaches its peak, the lovers experience a spiritual communion with the All Mother and the Great Father. Their love becomes a conduit for the divine plan, and the child conceived is seen as a vessel of destiny, carrying the hopes and dreams of their people.”
Love, within the Drakvaric culture, stands as a monumental pillar of spirituality, firmly enshrined within the hallowed verses of the Book of Ascension, a revered scripture that imparts the wisdom and teachings of Zil’Drogna. In the heart of the ancient Drakvaric society, the Covenant of Love stands as the most sacred and cherished aspect of their existence. This profound commitment, as depicted in the verses of the Book of Ascension, is not merely a casual emotion but a cornerstone that upholds their civilization. The Drakvaric people believe that love is patient, kind, and enduring, and their culture revolves around this fundamental concept.
Within the Book of Ascension, this spiritual monolith takes the form of verses that resonate through generations, serving as both a guide and a testament to the depth of their beliefs. These verses are not just words on parchment but living expressions of the Drakvaric soul.
The Drakvaric people, through their devotion to these verses, have crafted a society where love is not just a fleeting emotion but a virtue, an ethical compass that guides their actions, relationships, and aspirations. It has woven itself into the very fabric of their civilization, shaping their values, customs, and interactions. These verses encapsulate the idea that love, in its purest form, is patient and kind. It’s a force that does not seek to possess or dominate but rather to foster growth, to protect, trust, hope, and endure. It’s a love that transcends the individual, reaching into the realm of the collective, the spiritual, and the divine.
For the Drakvaric people, these verses are more than literature; they are a way of life. Love, as outlined within the Book of Ascension, is not just a personal sentiment but a profound connection that unites individuals, families, and the entire society. It’s a force that extends to the divine, an expression of the All Mother’s gift to her children.
Through the Covenant of Love, the concept of love stands as a testament to the power of spirituality in shaping the values and ethics of a society. Love, as depicted in these verses, is not a passive sentiment but an active, enduring force that guides their actions, decisions, and relationships. It’s a monolith of spirituality that stands at the core of their civilization, shaping their very identity as the Drakvaric people.
Book of Ascension, Mandate of an Empress
Diktat 1:1 Mandate of an Empress:
“Empresses! Hear this sacred decree as the chosen daughters of the All Mother, the rightful successors to the Empress of Fire, who, through unwavering resolve, proved her merit in the crucible of sacrifice. The shedding of her blood on battlefields, her sweat mingling with the earth as she toiled, and her tears shed for the people’s sorrow have paved the path for your ascendancy.
Accept that the path of empresshood is rife and pure with trials. Your authority shall be tested, your wisdom shall be challenged, and your resolve shall be questioned. Stand firm in your commitment to your people and let each trial temper you into a stronger, more compassionate leader
Under the banner of empresshood, you shall wield authority not as an entitlement but as a mantle earned. You must lead your people with the wisdom acquired through experience and the courage kindled in the fires of adversity. Uphold justice, protect the vulnerable, and foster unity. Let your reign echo the legacy of the Empress of Fire and kindle the flames of inspiration in every heart.
Remember that the title of empress carries the weight of sacrifice and selflessness. As the chosen daughters of the All Mother, you must be willing to lay down your lives, if need be, for the wellbeing of your people. Let your hands be calloused from labor, your voice strengthened through song, and your spirit unyielding in the face of challenges. May the eternal flame of the Empress of Fire burn brightly within your hearts. Let her legacy be your guiding light, and in her name, may you lead your people to a future bathed in the warmth of unity, prosperity, and unwavering love.”
Diktat 1:2 Mandate of an Empress:
“Empresses! Understand that your destiny beckons you to prove your merit in the unwavering gaze of the All Mother. Such titles are not bestowed lightly; they must be earned through the forges of trials. To claim the mantle of empress, you must have shed your blood on the fields of battle, where your courage and leadership shine as a beacon to your people. You must have sung your praises in town halls and echoing streets, for your words and deeds resounding through the hearts of those you serve. You should have danced with grace and dignity in the grand banquet halls, a symbol of unity and celebration.
Moreover, you must have mastered the art of diplomacy, forging alliances and resolving disputes with wisdom. Your wisdom must be a wellspring of inspiration, a guiding light for the empire. As an empress, you are the embodiment of your people’s hopes and aspirations, carrying the weight of their dreams upon your shoulders.
And when you have demonstrated your unwavering commitment, when you have faced adversity and triumphed, when your people rally behind your banner with unwavering faith, then, and only then, shall you rightfully bear the title of empress in the eyes of the All Mother and your beloved subjects.
Hear this, Empresses of Drakvaria, Chosen Daughters of the All Mother, Champions of the People! Your will may bend the very destiny of your people, but should you dare to spill the sacred blood of Her Highness, The All Mother’s cherished sons and daughters, you shall awaken the wrath of the Ancient Thrones! The Zil’Drogna, relentless in their vigilance, bear witness, for the Thrones of the Ancient Ones never forget. Your transgressions shall be laid bare, your errors shall invoke retribution, and you shall be consumed by the searing flames of your sins!”
Within the Drakvaric lore, there exists a legend so ancient and revered that it stands as the foundational myth of the empire’s existence. This legend tells the tale of the first Drakvaric Empress, a figure so enigmatic and powerful that her name has long been lost to the sands of time, for she is known by many titles: Sol’Varyss (Heraldess of a New Dawn), Hyr’Garda (Guardians of Dragons), and most renowned and recorded within ancient Dragonic literature: The Empress of Fire, or Zyl’Karithra.
The legend begins one thousand years after the wake of the Dragon Ascension, a time when the mighty Dragon Empire dissolved, leaving a fractured and divided land. An Empire built by the direct descendants of the All Mother and the Great Father, which once shines as a jewel within the empire, found itself in a state of vacuum. The unity that had once bound the land together lay extinguished, and the people of Drakvaria were on the brink of despair and continuous conflict, or even civil wars.
In those dire times, as the embers of unity smouldered in the hearts of the Drakvaric people, she emerged. Her very presence radiated regal authority, and her eyes burned with an unquenchable determination that would shape the destiny of an empire. She was the spark, the very fire, and the blaze that Drakvaria so desperately needed.
Yet, her path to becoming the Empress of Fire was not ordained by birthright. The soon-to-be Empress was born in a line of humble peasantry, rather than a bestowed royalty, as is written in the cryptic verses of an ancient prophecy, concealed within the dusty pages of a long-forgotten tomb. At the time of her youth, she remained oblivious to the grand role that destiny had assigned her. Her journey was a relentless odyssey, a path she had to forge with her own sweat, blood, and tears.
To become the living incarnation of an empire, she had to be more than a warrior, though her body bore the scars of countless battles. She had to be more than a scholar, for her wisdom had to rival the most revered sages. Her tongue had to be as sharp as her blade, mastering the arts of diplomacy as well as combat. She had to become a lover, knowing that the bonds of the heart can be as powerful as the bonds of steel. She nurtured like a mother, for an empire is a collective child to its ruler. Her might equaled that of the greatest generals, commanding armies with both strategic brilliance and leading at the forefront with an unbreakable courage. Her will, indomitable and resolute, transcended mortal boundaries, ascending to a state nothing short of godlike. It was a force so potent that it possessed the power to sway the very mountains, commanding them to bow before her unwavering determination. With a mere thought, she could stir the oceans from their tranquil depths, invoking their mighty tides at her bidding. Her actions were like the divine spark that ignited the very fires of destiny, setting in motion the cosmic symphony of existence with unmatched authority
Her journey was gruelling, a test of body and soul, but it forged her into the leader Drakvaria needed. She mastered the ancient ways of the Dragons, and they, in turn, bestowed upon her their immense power and protection. The prophecy’s words were etched into her heart, guiding her every action and decision. Her ascension was not one of mere birthright, for the Empress of Fire was chosen by destiny and the ancient spirits of the Dragons themselves, while her merit tested, challenged and proven. She possessed the ability to command the elements, and her touch could turn even the coldest of hearts into molten loyalty. Her bond with the Dragons was unbreakable, and they served as her protectors, their immense power at her beck and call.
With her resolve, the Empress of Fire united the fractured clans, tribes, and cities of Drakvaria. She forged an empire that stood as a beacon of strength and grandeur, guided by the principles of honour, unity, and the indomitable spirit of the Dragons. Under her rule, Drakvaria rose from the ashes, and the flame of her leadership burned brighter than any before. The Empress of Fire’s legacy endures in the very heart of Drakvaria. Her descendants, those who follow in her fiery footsteps, were born by her blood, but to be born from her blood as a Crown Princess, then by the Empress’ will she uphold the values she instilled, by forging her descendants to be better than herself. To be the Empress of a Drakvaric Empire is to carry the torch of the first Empress, to keep the fires of unity burning, and to ensure that the legacy of the Dragons lives on. The Empress of Fire, had not become a mere luminary, nor just another royal. To some, she had become a Goddess, her name revered in scrolls, texts and tomes written throughout Drakvaric history, even sprawling cults, those who worship the Empress of Fire.
Her legacy continued on throughout the history of Drakvaria as a foundation of what a Drakvaric Empress should be. The requirements were dictated even during the early days of the Empress as the Crown Princess, a first born of the Empress’ bloodline.
A Princess’s Conviction: Mistress of the Empire
Book of Ascension, Chapter 4: Mistress of the Empire
Verse 4:1. Behold! The Crown Princess, the rightful bloodline of Empress’s lineage, a torch is passed on, from the times of the Empress of Fire, who, through her strength and the will of the Ancient Thrones, led Drakvaria to an age of prosperity. The Crown Princess, the firstborn, carries this torch as a beacon of hope, a heir to the divine legacy forged by her foremothers. Heir to the Almighty Flame whom the Empress of Fire ignited.
Verse 4:2. She, the Crown Princess, her title holds no place for a mere holder. For she, who holds the lineage of the Empress of Fire, she who holds the reign over her people, her brothers and sisters, a sacrifice and might reincarnate she must become. Her title bore no privilege, but a curse! A destiny tarnished by sufferings and sacrifices of generations past.
Verse 4:3. Her name bore the title Crown Princess, but she has no right to ascend the throne! Only when she shed her blood, only when the sharpness of blades carved her body, only when her soul left shattered, only when her sorrow erupts in anguish, and only when she overcomes her suffering may her title bear merit to the Crown.
Verse 4:4. In ages of darkness that will loom over Drakvaria, when her people weep, their eyes heavy with tears. When her people shriek in anguish and darkness devours the land. Then her people shall turn to her, desperation heavy in their gaze. She, the Crown Princess, lights the beacon of hope! She answers their cries for justice and laments for salvation.
Verse 4:5. Let the fields of battle bear witness to her unwavering might, where her courage and leadership shine as brightly as the blaze of dragonfire.
Verse 4:6. Amidst the grandeur of banquet halls, let her elegance be the embodiment of grace, a living embodiment of the very soul of Drakvaria. With each step, let her movements be poetry, each gesture a splendour of glory, for she must inspire unity among her people.
Verse 4:7. In the hallowed chambers of the churches, let her soul be scrutinised, a window into her innermost being. Let her connection with the divine be a beacon of unwavering faith and wisdom, a source of inspiration for all who gather in reverence. For her soul is a reflection of the spiritual strength of her people.
Verse 4:8. At the end of her youth, as the Crown Princess treads through the final path of her Ascension, let the Throne, the heart of Drakvaria, be the ultimate judge of her worth. May her head stand tall with the weight of her mighty accomplishments, with the confidence of a leader who has braved the fiercest tempests. The Crown that adorns her head is not one of gold but one of duty, responsibility, and nobility, and she shall wear it with the approval of the Gods. Then, with the approval of the Gods, so shall she relinquish her title of Crown Princess and don the title of the Empress of Drakvaria!
For an Empress is not to rule, but to serve her people. Her title was not bestowed by her predecessors but by the will of the Gods. Her people, their prosperity and suffering, their joy and anguish, their lives and wellbeing shall be her responsibility. The Crown Princess shall endure tasks passed on by their mothers. A duty of sacrifice, where suffering must be her home. Only through toil may she be worthy, upon the graceful gaze of the Gods, she leads her people to prosperity.
The Revered Zyl’Varsha, Our Grand Patroness of War has dictated the trials that She, the Crown Princess must board. A Trial to forge the young Empress in the Crucible of the Great Father. To melt her very essence and mold her back into the daughter worthy to bear the fire of Zyl’Adrah.
Imperial Trials
Duties of the Taskmasters
Book of Ascension, Chapter 5
-
And so it is decreed by the All Mother, Zyl’Adrah, that the path to rulership shall be paved with trials of fire and the hammer of endurance, for only through the crucible of suffering shall the Crown Princesses emerge as the worthy guardians of our empire.
-
Taskmasters! You, chosen by the divine will of the All Mother, are charged with the sacred duty of forging Crown Princesses into vessels of strength and wisdom. You are both tormentors and guides, bearers of the mantle that weighs heavy upon the Her chosen daughters.
-
As tormentors, you shall inflict suffering upon the Crown Princesses, subjecting them to trials that test the Crown Princess. Carve her body, shed her blood, shatter their soul. Through hardship, Her chosen daughters shall strip away the veneer of privilege, exposing vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
-
Yet, as guides, you shall not abandon Her chosen daughters in their torment. Lead them through the abyss of suffering, offering the light of guidance. Taskmasters, you must nurture resilience and tenacity, forge the Crown Princesses as unbreakable warriors and leaders who shall safeguard the empire’s destiny.
-
Taskmasters! Abandon, you shall not when the Crown Princess weeps! When their hearts tremble, remind them of the divine purposes that the All Mother bestowed on her! Remind her that she is Her chosen daughter, the Guardian of the Empire, a Mother for all Drakvaric, heir to the Empress of Fire.
Let the Crown Princesses, in the crucible of trials, find the strength to emerge as the rightful rulers of our land. May She drown in suffering, where she finds strength, and through anguish. For their tears, They find solace. For their blood, may she find glory as they ascend, an unyielding guardians of our empire, blessed by Zyl’Adrah’s grace and forged in the fires of divine purpose. By her decree, shall the Crown Princess bear the crown of an Empress.
Hence, in the royal family, a first born princess is destined to hold the ruling hammer as well as the mantle of unity for the empire, this young women, destined to anchor the fate of the empire in the endless stream of time and act as the bastion and the very definition of a Drakvaric Strength.
Book Of Ascension, The Thrones of the Ancient Ones.
Zyl’Adrah — The All Mother: Zyl’Adrah, known as the All Mother in the Zil’Drogna pantheon, is the central and most revered figure in Drakvaric mythology. Her name, formed from “Zyl” for a feminine dragonic figure and “Adrah” signifying the highest form of a mother-like figure, encapsulates her divine role. She is said to sit on the highest throne among the Dragonic deities. Zyl’Adrah has always been considered to be the very source of life, creation, and nurturing. It is believed that she shaped the world with her divine breath and brought forth the Dragon races and eventually, the first Drakvarics. She watches over all aspects of life, from birth to death, and her presence is ever present in times of celebration, mourning, and every significant moment in a Drakvaric’s life. Zyl’Adrah’s wings are said to cradle the universe, offering protection and guidance to her beloved Drakvaric children, while her gaze watches every step a Drakvaric takes from the moment of their birth, youth, maturity, elderly and eventually their last breaths. It is her who welcomed the souls of the dead into the realm of the Dragons, the realm of the Zil’Drogna
Dra’Varehtor — The Great Father: Dra’Varehtor, the Great Father, stands as the masculine counterpart to Zyl’Adrah. His name, “Dra” representing a masculine dragonic figure and “Varethor” conveying the highest form of a father figure, reflects his regal and divine qualities. Dra’Varehtor occupies a throne to the left of the All Mother, symbolising his role as the protector and provider. He is the guardian of Drakvaric society, ensuring their safety and wellbeing. It is said that he breathed fire into the world’s heart, forging its foundation, and bestowed upon the first Drakvarics the gifts of strength and endurance. Dra’Varehtor is invoked during times of conflict and challenges, as Drakvarics seek his guidance and courage in the face of adversity.
Zyl’Karithra — The Lost Daughter:Zyl’Karithra, also known as the Lost Empress, is a captivating figure in the Drakvaric pantheon, born from mortal legend and revered by a select group of Drakvarics. Her name, “Karithra,” signifies the Great Daughter, as she is believed to be a descendant of the All Mother, Zyl’Adrah, an entity born from curiosity and wanderlust. Zyl’Karithra’s story, however, is more intricate than a mere mortal’s rise to power.
In the Drakvaric folklore, Zyl’Karithra was thought to be the Daughter of the All Mother who ventured away from her divine gaze to explore the world independently. Unbeknownst to many, the All Mother always knew of her daughter’s curious adventures. Zyl’Karithra’s quest for self-discovery led her on a journey through the realms, witnessing the beauty and complexities of the world. However, she missed the moments when her Divine Parents, Zyl’Adrah and Dra’Varehtor, returned to the realms of the Dragons. Eventually, Zyl’Karithra decided to incarnate herself into the lives of the Drakvarics, yearning for the care and love of a mother. Her essence dissolved into the world, seeking out a simple, loving family. She rooted herself in the womb of a mortal mother, becoming part of the fabric of a humble Drakvaric household.
Zyl’Karithra’s mortal life was marked by a remarkable journey. She grew up with the warmth of a loving family, and her divine essence enriched her mortal existence. Her charisma and determination were evident from an early age, drawing people to her as she embodied both the qualities of the gods and the curiosity of a wanderer. It was through her commitment to her bloodline and lineage that she embarked on a transformative mission. The Empress of Fire, as she would come to be known, united disparate lands into a single, unified empire. Zyl’Karithra’s leadership and vision served as a beacon of inspiration for Drakvarics seeking to transcend their stations in life. Her story reflects the potential for greatness within every Drakvaric, reminding them that even the most extraordinary beings can emerge from humble origins.
While Zyl’Karithra remains outside the formal Zil’Drogna lore, her followers view her as a luminary who bridges the gap between the divine and the mortal. Her cultists, although considered unique in their beliefs, hold a place of tolerance within Drakvaric society. Zyl’Karithra’s tale of self-discovery, unity, and the pursuit of greatness continues to inspire generations of Drakvarics, leaving an indelible mark on their collective consciousness.
Dra’Gortha — The Keeper of Knowledge: Dra’Gortha, the Keeper of Knowledge, is a dragonic deity whose name signifies the Great Knowledge Keeper. He holds a place of honour on the left-hand side of the All Mother’s throne, just next to the Great Father, symbolising his role in Drakvaric culture. Dra’Gortha is revered as the source of wisdom, learning, and understanding. He is the patron of scholars, researchers, and mages, guiding them in their pursuit of knowledge. Magic is frequently associated with Dra’Gortha, and he is believed to hold the key to unlocking the mysteries of the universe. His wisdom flows through the Drakvaric norms, shaping their culture and beliefs. It is said that his breath carried the secrets of the cosmos, and those who seek to unravel the enigmas of the world invoke his name.
Zyl’Varsha — The Patroness of War: Zyl’Varsha, known as the Patroness of War, bears a name that designates her as a feminine, dragonic figure (“Zyl”) associated with war and battle (“Varsha”). She occupies a position on the right-hand side of the All Mother’s throne, serving as her advisor for matters of war and combat. Zyl’Varsha is the embodiment of strategic prowess and martial skill. She is invoked by Drakvaric warriors and leaders before battle, seeking her guidance and blessing for victory. Zyl’Varsha’s presence inspires courage and unity among her followers, instilling them with the determination to protect their homeland and people. She is depicted as a fierce warrior with wings spread wide, ready to defend the Drakvaric empire from all threats.
Among the esteemed deities of the Zil’Drogna pantheon, Zyl’Varsha stands as a formidable figure of great reverence, particularly within the ranks of the Drakvaric Army. She embodies the essence of a warrior, a relentless guardian poised for battle in defence of the All Mother and her people.
In the depictions of Zyl’Varsha, she is represented as a majestic dragoness, her visage commanding attention and respect. Her mighty form is adorned with fierce fangs, poised to strike, and her maw hangs open in readiness for the impending conflict. Her entire posture exudes a sense of readiness, an unwavering stance that reflects her eternal preparedness to engage in combat. Her wings are unfurled, capturing the essence of imminent flight, symbolizing her ability to swiftly respond to any threat or challenge that may arise.
Zyl’Varsha’s role within the Drakvaric faith is as the Patroness of War, a guardian of the realm and a protector of her people. Her divine presence is invoked by warriors and soldiers in times of conflict, seeking her blessings and guidance on the battlefield. Her energy empowers Drakvaric troops, infusing them with courage and unwavering determination to defend their homeland. She is not merely a deity of combat but also a symbol of unity and vigilance. The image of Zyl’Varsha serves as a constant reminder to the Drakvaric Army that they are the steadfast defenders of their land, and they should always be prepared to stand in the face of adversity. Her role extends beyond the physical battlefield, encompassing the moral and spiritual fortitude required to face challenges with unyielding resolve.
The Book of Ascension expounds upon the divine mandates that an Empress must follow in her sacred role as the chosen representative of the All Mother and the divine embodiment of Drakvaric strength. These mandates are inspired by the very essence of Zyl’Varsha, reflecting her commitment to the defence of the empire. They serve as a testament to the Empress’s divine duty to safeguard the realm, echoing the vigilant spirit of the Patroness of War herself.
One of the central themes in the Book of Ascension revolves around the fates of the Crown Princesses of Drakvaria. It is here that the influence of Zyl’Varsha is most pronounced. The Crown Princess, as the heir to the throne and the future leader of the Drakvaric Empire, is groomed from a young age to embody the warrior spirit, drawing strength from the Patroness of War. Under the watchful guidance of the Book of Ascension, the Crown Princess is instilled with a profound sense of duty and an unwavering commitment to the protection of the Drakvaric people. The presence of Zyl’Varsha in the Drakvarian ethos serves as a constant reminder of the need for the Crown Princess to emulate the Patroness’s preparedness, courage, and unyielding resolve.
The journey of the Crown Princess towards becoming a worthy leader of the Drakvaric realm is nothing short of a relentless crucible, balancing the fine line between brutal challenges and unwavering support from the Taskmasters. Her role as the future leader requires her to embody the core values of the Drakvaric military high command and, by extension, the backbone of the entire society. The teachings that accompany her path acknowledge her divine lineage, tracing her ancestry back to the bloodline of the All Mother herself. However, Zyl’Varsha, the Patroness of War, contends that being born into this lineage is not an given qualification for leadership. In her divine wisdom, she proclaims that true leaders are not born but forged through trials and tribulations. As the sacred texts reveal, the training regimen for a young Crown Princess is, to put it mildly, brutal.
The Taskmasters, who serve as both mentors and taskmasters, orchestrate a series of trials that border on the extreme. From her very first day at the training grounds, the young Crown Princess is thrust into a world of unrelenting challenges. She wields lethal steel weapons, testing her strength, agility, and resolve. She dons armor designed for heavy guards, adding an additional layer of weight and complexity to her training. Marches, of distances that surpass even the grueling routines of the elite Varthorian recruits, become a daily ordeal. The physical trials are but one facet of her training; they mirror the harsh expectations of a leader who must face the harshest of conditions and still stand unyielding.
The emotional trials are equally demanding, as the Crown Princess is subjected to a regimen of rigorous scrutiny, relentless bullying, and even public shaming. These measures are not employed to break her spirit but to demolish any traces of arrogance and entitlement that might accompany her bloodline. It’s a journey designed to strip her of privilege and instill in her a profound sense of duty and responsibility. The Taskmasters act as motivators in these darkest moments, pushing the young Crown Princess to go beyond her perceived limits and emerge from these trials as a leader who has faced the harshest of challenges and emerged even stronger.
The Drakvaric Army, with their unwavering dedication to their deity, draw strength from Zyl’Varsha’s unwavering commitment to protecting the All Mother’s divine creation. In the grand ceremonies and rituals that honor her, soldiers pay their respects, seeking her divine guidance and invoking her name for courage in their missions. Zyl’Varsha’s presence in the Drakvaric Army’s ethos is a powerful force, uniting them in a common purpose and reminding them of the ever-present need to stand guard against threats to their beloved empire.
Zyl’Vyria — The Divine Temptress: Zyl’Vyria, the Divine Temptress, embodies the allure and mystique of the feminine divine in the Drakvaric pantheon. Her name is a fusion of “Zyl” signifying a feminine, dragonic figure and “Vyria” connoting temptation and seduction. She represents the captivating and enchanting aspects of life, weaving her influence into the realms of desire and passion. While not central to the Zil’Drogna lore, Zyl’Vyria’s followers see her as a deity who encourages the exploration of one’s desires and embraces the pleasures of existence. Her cultists are known for their celebration of sensuality and the pursuit of bliss. Zyl’Vyria’s presence is invoked during moments of love, romance, and the appreciation of life’s more indulgent experiences.

Tribes of Zehira
Seal used by the Zehirakk tribes
Tucked between the Empire’s vast territory, there exist a lesser known albeit significant ethnic group known as the Zehirakka or often refered to as the Tribes of Zehira. An ethnicity of similar reptillian background characterized by their serpent-like features and affinity for warmer climates, these serpentfolks often establish their communities along coastal regions and in temperate zones, where the lush environments align with their preferences, hence the Zehirakka were known to be experts on alchemy and they played a vital role in terms of alchemical advancement which contributes massively to the Empire, paving ways for a new market based on alchemy, supplying the needs of the Drakvaric people with a variety of goods ranging from medicinal potions, hunting poisons, enhancement elixirs, alcholic beverages aswell as aphrodisiacs.
Though, despite the Zehirakka’s contributions, they are not immune to the prejudice imposed upon them by the Drakvarian. Religious schism often arises between the two ethnic groups as the Zehirakkas held close a distinct form of religion as they adhere to what they revere as the Goddess of Life — Lady Zehira — hence why the ethnicity named themselves Zehirakka which in their tongue could be interpreted as the “Children of Life”, believing Zehira to be the loving All-Mother who nurture all living beings and an embodiment of the very essence of life. This belief clash in direct confrontation towards the Drakvaric who zealously held, enforce and impose their Zil’Drogna faith who worships a pantheon of their ancestral dragon deities, though scholars from outside of the empire often synonymously interpret Zyl’Adrah to be Zehira as the two shares similar concepts albeit different pantheons. Though, it should be noted that the differences has less of a religious nature but more so cultural and traditional. With the Zehirak spiritual beliefs tied closely to the equilibrium of nature, they hold reverence towards the process of life, viewing the balance ranging from war and peace, birth and death, creation and destruction to be a very essence of the world’s existence. Contrary to the Drakvaric’s celebration towards their goddess, the Zehirakks pay tribute towards the very nature they live in, from village rituals to celebrate the birth of a child they hold dearly, to the celebrations of the sea by offering various goods to be dragged into the ocean as a form of homage to the gifts their Goddess bestowed on them. The Zehirakk culture stems its roots on showing gratitude and homage to the nature they live in, similar to the Vargen’s Skölvargr beliefs, albeit the Zehirakks seems to be more intense in their beliefs.
Despite the differences and prejudice, the Empire still holds the people of Zehirak to be their misguided little brother and due to their contributions, the Empire bestowed their homeland to be a protectorate regency under the banner of the Drakvarics. One prominent region that the Zehirak inhabits is the Shores of Zehira, located about five kilometer from the Bay of Drakvaria, granting liberty for Zehira to own their own nautical territory. This coastal enclave serves as a testament to the Zehirakka’s enduring presence within the empire. Here, their unique culture thrives, marked by vibrant festivals, bountiful harvests, and the blending of land and sea traditions.
The relationship between the Drakvarics and the Zehirakka reached a critical juncture during the “Ten Years War.” In this great conflict, both ethnicities united under the Drakvarian banner, united in defense of their homeland. The war, however, left indelible scars on their societies, altering the course of their shared history forever. As they stood side by side against the Karalyste of Vakarua and the Magna Vargheimar, the Drakvarics and Zehirakka forged bonds of camaraderie and resilience that would endure long after the battles had ended.
Today, the Zehirakka remains an integral part of the Drakvarian Empire’s diverse fabric. Their serpent-like wisdom and reverence for life continue to enrich the empire’s culture and alchemical advancements. As the empire looks to the future, the Drakvarics and Zehirakka must navigate the complexities of their relationship, striving to find common ground between their cherished traditions and beliefs, ensuring the continued harmony of Drakvaria’s diversity.
