Which New Year Resolution to strike off

Life is full of surprises.

I have been through roller coaster of my sister and my mother illness. No one will issue an email or whatsapp to notify you that surprise is coming. Grief package is currently at warehouse, clearing custom, and ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) is today 11pm when you are fighting with your girlfriend or boyfriend about slow reply or emoji.

Strike off what’s taking up your time — say no.

This is nothing new. You have 24 hours a day and the things the one can achieved over the waking hours are limited. Yet, we are living like time is unlimited. (at this point, I wanted to hold on my typing and give my boys a hug, but I thought, you know, I would have time later. How ironic…)

We scrolling through the social media, playing games that is meaningless to life, watching another women went crazy in Netflix reality show, contemplating for 30 min over same item in Amazon and thinking which merchant has better reviews.

My SAME New Year Resolution

In my last post, I was determined to strike some of the same New Year Resolution off.. Guess what — I am staring at them and thinking — I can do them all actually. As long as I am a little bit more disciplined, just spend less time on social media, be more sharp and clear about my work, less lunch, be focus, I think I can do it.

Here I am thinking the same thing as I was every year — I can do it.

I do not want to strike anything off.

I do not want to make choices.

I want everything.

Life is short — I think I can have it all…

All the logics are making sense (they came from me!) but I couldn’t make choices.
