Where I Found His Presence

I don’t think this happened all of a sudden…
It was more like a process.
Somewhere along the way, I started feeling His presence in the simplest things — in nature, in the sky, in birds, in stars. Not just seeing them… but feeling a kind of love, a kind of support through them.
It might sound a little childish… but it feels very real to me.
For me, birds have become a sign. Whenever I see a lot of them around me, it feels like God is close… like something beautiful is about to happen. I don’t question it, I just feel it.
The sky does something to me too.
No matter how my day is going, the moment I look up… something inside me calms down. It’s like it heals a part of me without even trying. I just stand there sometimes, looking at it, and I smile without a reason.
And then there are stars.
I don’t just look at them… I talk to them.
I know it sounds strange, but I do. I talk to them like I would talk to someone who understands me. And sometimes, it feels like they respond. Not in words, but in their own way… a little twinkle, a small moment that feels like an answer.
Even butterflies feel like a sign to me.
Like a reminder that something good, something soft, something beautiful is around me.
I’ve started believing that nature is not just nature… it’s a reflection of God. His way of being around us, of reminding us that we are not alone.
And when I look at how beautiful everything is — the sky, the birds, the sunsets, the stars — it makes me feel something deeper…
That the same God who created all of this… created us too.
And maybe that means we are beautifully made as well.
I wasn’t always like this.
I never really noticed the sky this much. Never gave my time to sunsets or stars or birds. But I guess time changes you. Or maybe life teaches you to slow down and see things you once ignored.
Somewhere along the way, I found peace here.
I found my own way of connecting… my own way of talking to God.
Some days, I even lose track of time just sitting with all of this. And strangely, I don’t feel like I’m wasting time. I feel like I’m finally being present.
There’s a different kind of comfort in knowing that something so simple can calm you down.
For me, it’s nature.
For you… it could be anything.
But I think the real thing is to find that one thing — that place, that feeling — which brings you back to yourself.
Which feels true.
Which feels like peace. 🤍
